The Survivors (raglak and swaron) chapter 6

Chapter 6

The bright sun rays entered his eyes. He shut them to stop the rays. His hrad started hurting. He opened his eyes and and saw Lakshya sitting beside him. His face was covered with worried looks
Swayam:what happened bro.
Lakshya looked at him if he was an alien. He thought the usage of the word BRO had caused this. Swayam gave him a surprised look.
Lakshya: first you save me by sheilding me, then you lie unconscious for two whole days. And on waking, you ask WHAT HAPPENED.
Swayam: i forgot about the crash. (his eyes widdened) Did we really got saved?
Lakshya: yes. Both the pilots died. I was gonna die to but you hit me and roled me away and saved me. And that too at a critical moment.
Swayam:(shocked ) my head hit something hard. I remember that. But not hitting u as you say.
Lakshya: the incident you remember was before crash. You hit me when the berg crashed. At a critical moment. You do not remember may be because you were unconscious till then.
Swayam:CRITICAL MOMENT?

Lakshya:the berg crashed just then. I lost you as you were not getting awake. I thought that you had died. I thought i was not able to fulfill my promise. Two days of your sleep decreased my hopes to see you alive. But i decided to stay a day more to wait for you.
Swayam : which promise?

Lakshya: (sighed) when you were throwing rope, my eyes met sharon’s. She had a look which said that i should let you throw the rope once again. But i understood that she was worried for you. I gave her an assuring look that i will not let any harm happen to YOU.
Swayam:( changing topic ) I know you were not just waiting for me to get up and feeling that you will not be able to see me, what you found in the ruins.
Lakshya : a work pad with the route for berg. (handing him few sheets) this is the map given in work pad. I have copied it on these sheets. We just have to walk 60-70 miles from here to reach their hideout. But i prefer we should go back, collect our friends and then start our hike for reaching the base.
Swayam: ya. That would be the best thing to do. We could also find that….. I mean.
Lakshya: i understood. (understanding what he wanted to say)
He wanted to say WE COULD ALSO FIND IF SHARON AND OTHERS ARE ALIVE OR NOT.
Both started their journey. Lakshya prefeered to use the copied map to go back. The battery in work pad could die and there was no point to charge it. They may have to use it if the sheets got spoilt.
