Challenging the fate (KKB) Chapter 1

I waked up as mentioned by him in afternoon. I smiled as I looked at the clock on the wall.

I reflected about the man I met yesterday. Especially the game ‘Bash the bush!’

I am still thinking about the game that made me laugh so much. It was so so cute and funny!

But why does he gave a riddle at the end that I have to find who is he within a year?

I was thinking and even challenged him that I can find who is he soon! I will find who is he! But I can’t spend my time now to find as I am going to Germany soon!

I need to get ready and leave to see my friend today! I have to share with her all my plans to visit Germany! I really need a break after my glass (heart) break.

After sometime,

Sarla ma : Why are you smiling so much?
Pragya: Nothing Ma…Just like that…
Sarla ma: Just like that? Until yesterday u were upset of Suresh’s marriage! Now u are smiling!!
Pragya closed her eyes for a while and again smiled opening her eyes.

Sarla ma: Again smiling??
Pragya: Ma…how long I can be upset for that…he moved on but that doesn’t mean my love has moved on na…it’s still there somewhere in my heart for someone else to revive it and truly understand my love..
Sarla ma looked stunned of her words.

Pragya waved her hands in front of her.

Sarla ma: Never expect u to be so philosophical after love failure…
Pragya shaking her head: Ma…please…

She said that and walked passed her.

Pragya: Ma! I am going to meet Anita…
Sarla: To discuss holiday plans right?
Pragya: Yes Ma…
Sarla Ma: Ok…take care…
Pragya nodded her head in response with a light smile.

Later she reached her friend’s house and pressed the doorbell.

Anita opened the door and screamed in happiness.

Pragya hugged her and both were jumping in happiness.

Anita: Oh god!! U are here after such a long time! Thank god! U know the direction to my home now!

Pragya pleasantly smiled hearing that.

Anita: Come! I want to show u something!

She pulled Pragya excitedly towards her room.

Pragya: Oh dear…u have changed your room? It’s so nice especially with this vibrant colors.

Anita: You like it?
Pragya : It’s lovely…
Anita: Then the credit goes to my Bhai’s friend…
Pragya: Oh..is he a interior designer?
Anita: No…u know I was depressed some time back na…for the job I was fired off..
Pragya: Haan then after that u didn’t want any of us to meet u…
She said that in a low tone.
Anita: Sorry yaar…I was in no mood to talk to anyone…I felt everyone was asking the same thing…why they fired u from the job? What wrong did u do? Blah blah…
Pragya: I can understand…but i know the fault is not with u…
Anita: Thanks Pragya…that’s why I made it a point that no friends of mine should be coming to my house for sometime…
Pragya: Then how did u change? I mean after 2 months u called me!
Anita laughed loud.

Pragya looked curiously at her.
Anita: It’s because of him…
Pragya: Who?
Anita: My Bhai’s friend…
Pragya: He doesn’t have a name?
She chuckled.

Anita smilingly: He have lots of name like Handsome…Dasher…etc
Pragya: Real name?
Anita: That’s the interesting part…first sit down Pragya…I can tell u more about him..
Pragya sat beside her.
Anita: Even my brother never calls him by his name. He calls him as NS!
Pragya: NS? Meaning?
Anita: Naughty Star!
Pragya smiled hearing that.
Pragya: That means he is naughty…
Anita: Yes Pragya…very naughty…he even disturbed me lots of time…but then he made me change…I am grateful for that…
Pragya: Interesting….so how does he look?
Anita: He is tall and dusky colored. He have a cute eyes that shows naughtiness when he does something to make other laugh.

Pragya: Hmm…so you like him?
Anita: Nah…not sure…I liked him for bringing a change in me…but now he is not here anymore…
Pragya: You mean he stayed here?
Anita: Yes as a paying guest but now we are not sure of his whereabouts…You know what?? He don’t even have a mobile phone!!!
Pragya: What?? He don’t even have a phone? Like seriously??
Anita: Haan Pragya…sounds shocking na? But yes he doesn’t have one…When I asked him on the last day he stayed here for his number…that’s when he said I don’t have a mobile phone…
Pragya: Interesting…in this times there is someone who is like this….when u tell about this person for some reason it reminds me of the man I met yesterday at Suresh’s marriage…
Anita: Who is that? Tell na…
Pragya explained her experience and Anita looked shocked.

Pragya: Why are u looking like that?
Anita : You said Bash the bush na…NS also taught a game for me with a similar name…Catch the charisma….
Pragya remained silent hearing that and took her phone from her handbag.

Pragya : Is this the guy u are refering to?
Anita: Ya!! But why is he giving a face as if he eaten something bitter?

She laughs saying that and Pragya also find the pic funny.
Anita: That means he also changed your mood!
Pragya: Kind of…
Anita: I know u won’t agree but he did change your mood…
Pragya: Maybe….
Anita shook her head and Pragya chuckled.
Anita : You see Pragya…u just met him for sometime and u are talking about him to me today…then imagine my state…i met him every day yaar…Don’t u think I will miss him?
Pragya nodded her head with a wide smile.
Anita: But what to do? He is not even in any social media…no phone! No way to contact him…at least knowing his name would be better but that too I don’t know…
Pragya : You never asked your brother for his name?
Anita giggled.
Pragya frowned out of curiosity.
Anita: You know where my Bhai met him?
Pragya: Where?
Anita: At railway platform! Strangely he introduced himself as NS and my Bhai too never enquire about him that much…
Pragya: Why is that so?
Anita: It seems that he helped to do first aid to one of the passenger there who is my Bhai’s best friend…Bhai got emotional and he asked what favour can he do to him. In return he said I just need a room to stay for a month.
Pragya: So that’s how he was a paying guest at your house.
Anita nodded her head.

Pragya: Weird na…i mean he helped others in some way…that too in a fun way and then he disappears…
Anita: No Pragya…he never disappears…he appears in our mind na..maybe that’s what he wants…
Pragya: Hmm…that’s true…
Anita: Okok if we talk about him then we don’t know how time flies…let’s eat something!

Pragya grinned and both went to eat something outside.

Pragya and Anita standing near a ice cream shop while eating.

Anita: Actually u seems to be too proud as u challenged him.
Pragya: No! I will find who is he!
Anita: Acha…how?
Pragya looked away with a pout of how to tell the way she would find.
Pragya exclaimed : Haa! I will ask a private detective to find!
Anita hearing that bursted into laughter and Pragya gave a puppy like look being upset.
Anita tickled her making Pragya’s ice cream to fall which made her disappointed.

Anita: This is what happens when u are too proud…
Pragya chased her making Anita’s ice cream to fall on her dress and both were laughing at each other insanely.

That’s when Pragya’s phone rang.
Pragya seeing the name flashed on her phone’s screen signalled to Anita to be silent.

Now I am dead when she is calling me!!!
Oh god! Please save me from this Burden!
