The Chronicles Of Kriyam: Season 2, Episode 12

Note: A few weeks have passed and Kaira and Sayaam have become very close. They are really good friends and have also had some unintended romantic moments. Kaira is technically still here on her business trip.

Episode begins.

( Its morning. Sayaam wakes up. Kaira is there to greet him. )

Kaira: Good morning!

( Sayaam smiles. )

Kaira: Ok come now! I made breakfast for everyone today so you have to eat!

( She takes Sayaam to the dining table. )

Suhani: Beta, come sit.

( Sayaam sits next to Suhani and Priya. Everyone eat. Kaira’s phone rings. She goes to take the call and comes back crying. )

Yuvani: Kaira….what’s wrong?

( Yuvani goes and hugs her. )

Yuvani: Why are you crying?

Kaira: My…..my….he….

Suhani: What are you trying to say Kaira?

Kaira: My fiancé called…..he isnt going to marry me…..just as papa said….he knew it would happen…

( Kaira cries into Yuvani’s shoulder. Yuvani comforts her. )

Yuvani: Kaira, its ok! Dont cry!

Kaira: No! Papa will disown me…..he never liked him anyways…no one will marry me….i knew him since we were children…how could he do this to me?

Suhani: Dont worry beta….

( Everyone try to comfort Kaira. Sayaam stands up. )

Sayaam: I will marry Kaira.

( Everyone’s faces are shown one by one. They are all shocked. )

Kaira: What?!

Suhani: Beta, what are you saying?

Sayaam: I will marry Kaira. I dont have any problem. If it helps her, then I will.

Bhavna: Sayaam are you sure?

Sayaam: What more is there to be sure about? Me and Kaira are very good friends. And thats that.

Suhani: Kaira, do you have any problems?

( Kaira shakes her head. She runs to Sayaam and hugs him. )

Kaira: Thank you! Thank you Sayaam! You are doing such a big favour for me!

( Everyone smile at them. )

( Its night. Yuvani is talking to Krishna’s picture. )

Yuvani: Krishna, I hope we are doing the right thing. I’ve told you right? I want Sayaam to be happy. His happiness means everything to me. And if this is what he wants and if this is what will make him happy, then so be it…..

( Priya comes and wraps her arms around Yuvani’s waist. )

Priya: Mumma, why do you worry? Everything will be fine.

( She smiles and Yuvani hugs her. Sayaam watches them from a far. )

Yuvani: Priya, go sleep its getting late.

( Priya leaves and Yuvani cries. Sayaam goes to her. He hugs her. Yuvani quickly wipes her tears. )

Yuvani: Sayaam, what is wrong? Do you need anything?

Sayaam: Your support. In everything.

( Yuvani smiles. )

Yuvani: Of course.

( Sayaam takes Yuvani to her room. )

( Its the next day. The day of Sayaam and Kaira’s engagement. Yuvani, Bhavna, Yuvaan and Sharad are busy decorating the hall. Sayaam comes there. )

Yuvaan: Sayaam, look, how are the decorations?

Sayaam: Its good. Yuvani, where is ma?

Yuvani: I dont know. She might be in her room.

( Sayaam leaves. He enters Suhani’s room where she is sitting on the bed looking at a picture of Krishna. )

Suhani: Sayaam, beta, come in.

Sayaam: Ma, are you ok? I mean with this marriage?

Suhani: Sayaam, I will support you in any decisions. Kaira is a nice girl. But you. Are you happy?

Sayaam: Ma, im fine. But dont think because im marrying Kaira that i will forget Krishna. Krishna is mine. She is my first and only love. I will never ever love anyone else, ever.

( Suhani and Sayaam cry remembering Krishna. They hug. )

( Its night. Many guests arrive. Kaira and Sayaam come out to the hall together. )

Yuvani: Wow! Kaira you look so beautiful!

Suhani: She has to! If she is going to become my bahu!

( Everyone smile. )

Priest: If you dont mind, can we start the rituals?

Yuvaan: Yes. Sayaam, Kaira, come.

( Everyone watch as they complete necessary rituals. Sayaam is about to put the ring on Kaira’s finger when a few police inspectors enter. Everyone look on shocked. )

Suhani: Inspector…..

Inspector: We are looking for Sayaam Birla….

( Everyone look on. )
