The Chronicles Of Kriyam (Episode 8)

Episode begins.

( All are gathered around Krishna, crying, as the doctors lead her into the ICU. Sayaam sits with his head in his hands. )

Suhani: How did this happen?

( She cries. Bhavna consoles her. )

Yuvaan: Ma, we need to stay strong. For Krishna’s sake.

( Yuvani cries and sits with Sayaam. She tries to console him. )

Yuvani: Sayaam, calm down.

Sayaam: How do i calm down? This is all my fault. I should never have taken Krishna to the terrace and i should have left with her.

( He cries. )

Yuvani: Sayaam, this is not your fault. Like Yuvaan said we need to be strong for Krishna. She will be fine.

( Sayaam cries in Yuvani’s shoulder. She hugs him and strokes his head to calm him down. )

( Baby is standing afar and thinks to herself: This Yuvani na, she cares so much for Sayaam and his wife but when it comes to Yuvaan and me she always insults me. )

( A lot of time passes. All the family are waiting to hear the news. The doctor comes out. )

Suhani: Doctor whats going on? Is Krishna ok?

Doctor: She has suffered quite severe injuries but she will be okay. However there is one problem.

Sayaam: What problem?

Doctor: Her fall was really bad and has affected her whole body. She may face complications in the future when it comes to children.

( All are shocked. )

Bhavna: What do you mean complications?

Doctor: I mean she may struggle to concieve and could potentially face miscarriages. But she may still be okay.

( Sayaam cries. )

Yuvani: Sayaam, the doctor said she may be ok na. Dont lose hope.

Bhavna: Doctor can we meet Krishna yet?

Doctor: Yes we will shift her to a ward.

( Everyone is gathered around Krishna’s hospital bed. Sayaam is waiting outside, watching through the window. )

Krishna: Why are you all crying? Im fine.

Suhani: Look Krishna, the doctor said…

( Suhani cries. )

Krishna: What? What did the doctor say?

( Krishna looks troubled. )

Suhani: You may face problems when having children. Im sorry Krishna.

( Krishna cries. Bhavna hugs her. )

Bhavna: Krishna look its going to be okay. The doctor said it might be ok.

( All are crying. Even Baby looks upset. )

( Yuvani sees Sayaam outside and goes to him. )

Yuvani: Sayaam, what are you doing out here?

Sayaam: Yuvani, i cant face Krishna. This is all my fault. She’s hurt once again because of me.

Yuvani: At this time, Krishna needs you. She needs your support and care to know its going to be okay. Come.

( Yuvani takes Sayaam into the room. )

( Yuvani ushers everyone to leave Krishna and Sayaam alone. )

( Sayaam sits beside Krishna and holds her hand. Krishna cries. )

Krishna: Sayaam, why did this happen? Why did this happen to me?

( They both cry for a bit. Sayaam hugs Krishna. )

Sayaam: Krishna, the doctor said na that he could be wrong and you may not face any problems. Stay strong.

( Sayaam is feeding Krishna in the hospital. Everyone watch as he takes care of her. )

Suhani: I dont think Krishna just fell like that. I think someone did something. And when I find out, i wont spare them.

( Baby looks distressed. )
