GADODIA’S

Ragini Gadodia – a simple,matured,intelligent middle class girl … only child of parents so got much pampering ..respect elders ..is an artist …. draw sketches and paintings …working in a art firm ………

Shekhar Gadodia – a middle class retired school teacher … father of ragini .. loves her very much ..

Sharmistha Gadodia – wife of shehar and mother of ragini …. loves her family …. housewife ………….

MAHESHWARI’S

Durgaprasad Maheshwari – owner of maheshwari industries … a fun loving and cool person ( unlike in serial ) loves his wife and son very much ………….

Annapurna Maheshwari – wife of dp .. mom of laksh…. beautiful smart and caring lady …..she’s modern but little strict towards dp and laksh

Laksh Maheshwari( Lucky ) – a fun loving guy …. crime partner of dp … lives life to the fullest ….. at present he’s in usa for completing his studies but is returning soon …………

SHARMA’S

Ram Prasad Sharma – a middle class , happy ad fun loving person … best friend of shekhar as they both used to teach in same school …. he’s also retired … loves his wife and son…

Sujata Sharma – wife of shekhar , mom of sanskaar ….. a cute caring mother .. loves her family … is friends with shomi …..

Sanskaar Sharma – a reserved , mature guy … works in a company and owns a small art gallery  …best friend of ragini … loves her secretly but has never told her …

In short Sharma’s and Gadodia’s are family friends ………….

So here goes chapter one of BABUL ……………………………………………

A big mansion is shown… Many preparations are going on… It seems that someone special is going to come………

Servant of the house, Raju ask the lady who was instructing others..

Raju: mam… Who’s is coming?? You are looking so happy!
The lady turns with a big smile on her face.
Lady: arre Raju…. U don’t know….. Arre my son… The chirag of this house… Laksh is coming today from usa after 7 years…
Yes, the lady is annapurna!!
Raju smiles.
Ap: arre why r u standing here?? See if the food is prepared or not..?? Go…..
Raju: okay mam!!
Ap smiles and goes to her room…..

She comes and finds her husband, dp sitting on the sofa holding a photo frame…. She keeps her hand on his shoulder.. Dp looks at her.

Dp: finally annu… Finally our son is coming back. .
Ap: yes and now forever…..

They hug each other……..

Other side a 2 storey house ? is shown…….

A man is shown reading newspaper.. A lady comes to him with a tray with tea….

Lady: shekhar… Here have tea…
The man is shekhar…
Shekhar: arre mishti u sit here… Take some rest.. From morning u r running here and there…
Sharmishtha sits besides him..

Shekhar: vaise where is our ladli??? Ginniiiiiiii…..
He shouts.
Shomi: o shekhar… Have patience she’s coming….. U drink tea….

They sip the tea.

Then a small simple room is shown where a girl is combing her hair.. Then her beautiful big eyes are shown.. She applies kajal… Then her beautiful lips are shown.. She applies light lipstick…. Then she tutns and her face is shown…

Yes she is our ragini…..

She then joins her hands before God and prays.
She then takes her purse, stole and mobile and comes to her parents.

Ragini: good morning papa!!
She hugs shekhar.
Shekhar: good morning ginni…
Ragini: good morning mummy…
She hugs her also..
Shomi: good morning beta… Come have breakfast…
Ragini: yeah I’m very hungry….

She then eats her food and leaves for work…

Shekhar: how much work she does na??
Shomi: actually… Now we just have to find a suitable match for her… Who’ll take care of her and love her….
Shekhar: hmmm…..

Scene shifts to a office.. Ragini’s office….

Ragini comes to her boss’s room.

Ragini: may I come in sir??
Boss: come ragini.. Have a seat.
Ragini sits down.
Boss: look tomorrow we have a very imp meeting with MAHESHWARI’S. …. So u have to check the presentation which raj ( employee) has made and do the suitable corrections…. This contract is really important for us…. We’ll gain huge profits and also get to work abroad….
Ragini: sure sir.. have no fear when I’m here…
Boss: beta.. U r here thats y I hv no fear otherwise these all useless people had drowned our company twice… But thanks to god who sent u for us…..
Ragini: no problem uncle…. Okay then i’ll leave now….
Boss: okay..

Its evening…..

Maheshwari mansion.

Everything is set up … mansion is glowing with beautiful lights …… a small party is organised for laksh ..guest have arrived … dp is talking with few of his friends ………..

Dp : where is annu ?? excuse me ill just come……

He is about to go upstairs but sees that ap is coming down in beautiful peacock green saree with aarti plate in her hand ….. ap smiles seeing him .

Dp : annu where were you ??

Ap : i was just preparing this aarti plate ….

Dp : that is okay annu … but how many times i hv told u not to leave me alone when ur friends are also here ….. they are always teasing me ……..

Ap laughs .

Ap : common duggu ….. they are my friends …

Dp : ya ya i know very well ………… now come lets go lucky might becoming any moment ……….

Ap : yeah come ……..

They start coming towards door and wait for laksh to come…………

Ap : y didn’t laksh came till now ??

Dp : he might be coming . hes my son so will have a grad entry only ……

They still wait but laksh doesn’t come .. now ap is irritated ….

Ap : wht is ……….

But before she could complete her sentence someone keeps   hands on her eyes ……….she touches the hands..

Ap : laksh !!!!

Laksh : mom how do u know its me ???

Ap : im your mom beta …and

Dp : and a mother knows everything …… right annu ??

Ap : right …

Laksh hugs ap and dp and then they pose for family photograph………..

Then the party continues and dp announces laksh as the new md of maheshwari industries …………….
