Dev continues scolding Sona that because of her, mom is in this condition, so it is better they break up. Sona is shocked and asks how can he decide alone, he was boasting he loves her like a man does to his woman, what happened now. He says he did not mean that. She continues confronting. He says his mom is most important to him and he cannot risk her life. Sona walks out crying.
Sona reaches home weeping. Family asks what happened to her, if Dev told her anything. She says Dev and she broke up. Elena says Ishwari must have rejected her. Daadi asks is it i because they are from middle class family. Sona says it is Dev who broke up, he wanted her in his life and now wants her to get out of his life. She continues crying. Bejoy asks her to stop crying as Dev and his family does not deserve her tears, she should be strong as it is like a broken dream now, one cannot cry for broken dreams and should move ahead.
Ishwari’s condition stabilizes in the morning. She asks doc when can she go back home. He says once her son comes back, he will discuss with him and then she can go home. Sona comes and gives Ishwari’s medical and diet reports to doc and says she is leaving job. Doc says okay and leaves. Ishwari asks why she is leaving job. Sona says Dev and she have broke up and she cannot continue any more. Ishwari says some relationships are very short and she needs to understand that. She continues giving her moral gyaan. Sona leaves. Dev enters and they both cross each other without noticing each other.
Sona reaches home. Bejoy asks her where she had been. She says she went to hospital to meet Ishwari. He says why did she go after all this. She says she went there as doc. She has even quit job. Bejoy says she did right.

I know pple are commenting on Iswari’s behavior but in my opinion if u look from the beginning, the main culprit is Dev!!
People usually believe that a lady is behind ant successful marriage but I think it’s the Man who needs to be sensible since he is the connecting link between wife and mother.
But Dev is just a spineless guy!! ( Pardon me Deb’s fans). And there are several reasons for this —
1. His confusing personality. Natasha was a nice girl; she infact asked Dev to take time but Dev accepted her proposal and just one day prior he backs out! Since Sona is the main lead, pple supported this but what if it would have been the reverse case ??There are many girls who get hurt due to Dev like confused guys.
2. Lying and hiding things from your beloved ones is just betraying them. When u loved the girl then why did you hide it from your mom whom you worship as God ?? You knew your mom is not a vamp that should have not accepted the relationship. But since you lied, she felt cheated and consequently her affection for Sona decreased.
3. We know pple change after falling in love but to such extent that you forget your manners ? What was the need to drag your girlfriend to family photo shoot when she too was hesitating ? Dev’s such childish act , before elders was really annoying. Afterall yours is not that modern family!
Girls like Sona are raised like princes have achieved success due to hard work,, they do not deserve spineless men like Dev !! It would be better if she finds some sensible guy .. Jab propose karne aaya tha tab to Maa se nahi poocha tha..tab nahi Socha ki Maa mana karegi to kya hoga…now simply ending up the relationship!! Such a cheap man!! Donot have any guts to stand up for his own words and promises!!
Well while I agree to many of your points regarding Dev being a confused man , I disagree that the he is to be blamed solely! Read his psyche carefully then you would realise as to why this happened! I agree to the point that a man is the coordinating link between mother and wife but Dev knew his mother would create problems in his heart of hearts and that is why never got the courage to talk about his relationship with Sona! He knew her psyche and probably anticipated this rejection.That is why he was just buting tiime! That was wrong and harmed the girl a lot more. But love is spontaneous and instinctive it does not happen at your will or with anybodys permission or it is difficult to even break away after rejection! Love continues it cannot be controlled. He fell in love with her and couldnt resist it . He enjoyed love but when eehen it came to revealing the news to his Mom he knew it would be tough! His outburst was with Dona! Actually outbursts happen only with your dearest as somewhere u know that it will be pardoned by love ultimately!
But the irrational behaviour definitely reflects his instability! A smart thinker would have taken Sona along the stride and slowly got her accepted!

I know Iswari’s behavior is childish and she should avoid taking advices from pple like Radharani, but it all started with Dev’s foolish activity!

Supriya Pilgaonkar’s overacting with her facial expression should now be monitored Director saab! Thoda zyada hee ho rahe shuru se! Except for a couple of scenes so far in the episode , she has put unnnecessary stressful expression on her face! She constantly made faces even when she had a good tryst with Sonakshi! I dont know what the writer wants to portray the relation of Mother and Son. This type of relation is not acceptable in the society. She has three daughters that she is least bothered, as if they don’t exist at all.
