Chapter 45 (The wedding day)

The wedding venue
Kunj and Yuvraj brought Rahul to the mandap who was wearing an off-white sherwani while Kunj was wearing a blue sherwani and Yuvraj a red one. Twinkle and Mahi brought Kritika from the other side who was wearing a deep pink lehenga with her hair tied up in a bun and the chunni covering her head. Mahi was wearing a red saree and her hair was left open while Twinkle was wearing a peacock blue coloured saree with silver embroidery work and her hair was left open. Kritika and Rahul smiled at each other while Kunj signalled Twinkle with his hands “beautiful”. Twinkle smiled at him. They made Rahul and Kritika sit down and stood behind them. Leela and RT gave Kritika’s hand into Rahul’s hand. Some time later, the priest told both of them to take rounds around the fire. They took the rounds and then, Rahul made her wear the mangalsutra and after that the sindoor. Around after half an hour the Sarnas left from there back to Sarna mansion after the Tanejas bid adieu to their daughters.

Sarna mansion
Usha and Bebe welcomed Kritika and Rahul inside the house. Rahul was walking inside when Yuvraj said, “Bhai mere, bahut maza uthaya tha mera. Chal ab tradition follow kar.” (My brother, you laughed a lot during our wedding. Now, follow the tradition.) Rahul smilingly picked up Kritika in his arms and walked towards his room. Everyone smiled when Bebe said, “You all must be tired. Go, sleep.” Everyone nodded their heads and walked towards their rooms.

Krihul room
Rahul entered the room and walked towards the bed. He gently placed Kritika on the bed and after locking the door walked towards her. Kritika clutched the bedsheet while Rahul whispered, “Don’t worry. Even I’m not ready fatso.” Kritika opened her eyes and said, “You! How dare you call me fatso? I’ll kill you.” Kritika climbed down the bed and chased Rahul around the room. Rahul climbed on the bed and picked up a pillow. “Kriti, see. Don’t come near me”, said Rahul trying to protect himself with the pillow. Kritika picked another pillow and both of them started having a pillow fight. After sometime the room was covered with feathers. Both of them burst out laughing and fell down on the bed. “Good night”, said Kritika resting her head on his arm. “Good night”, replied Rahul kissing her forehead and both of them slept hugging each other.

Twinj room
Kunj and Twinkle entered the room while Kunj locked the door. Twinkle took out her dress from the cupboard and said, “I’ll change and come then, you go.” Twinkle was about to go when Kunj held the pleaded part of her saree. He pulled her towards himself and hugged her from back. “What’s the hurry?”, asked Kunj. “You’re still in the mood to romance?”, asked Twinkle. “Ofcourse. When you’re so unromantic I only have to be the one romancing”, replied Kunj. Twinkle turned around to face him. She sensually moved her finger on his face and said, “So, I’m unromantic?” Kunj smiled and nodded his head in a yes. Twinkle slid her finger down his neck and unbuttoned his sherwani. She held her collar and kissed him pulling him closer. Kunj was shocked but, after sometime reciprocated and around 5 minutes later, they pulled back. Kunj smiled looking at Twinkle who was blushing. Twinkle was about to go when Kunj picked her up in his arms. He gently placed her on the bed and came on top of her. He switched off the lights and they again consummated their marriage.

(10 days later)
Sarna mansion
Twinj room
“Mmm Kunj.. no more. I’m already full”, said Twinkle. “Twinkle, you didn’t have anything. Have this”, said Kunj picking up another piece of fruit. “I can’t have anymore. I’m really full. Give me the juice and I’ll be done”, said Twinkle trying to take the glass from Kunj’s hand. Kunj moved his hand back and said, “First have this.” “No, give me the juice”, said Twinkle. “Have this first”, repeated Kunj. “Fine, I won’t have anything. You go”, said Twinkle. “Twinkle”, said Kunj widening his eyes. “Kunj, it has just been five days. The way you’re making me eat by the end of 9 months I’ll weigh more than 200kg”, said Twinkle. Kunj laughed and said, “It’s okay. We’ll have a healthy baby then. Have this now.” Twinkle came close to Kunj and said, “Please?” Kunj nodded his head in a no. Twinkle moved closer while Kunj closed his eyes. Twinkle smiled and took the glass of juice from his hand. “Twinkle, this isn’t fair”, said Kunj. “Everything is fair in love and war”, replied Twinkle. Kunj angrily looked at her while Twinkle laughed at him.
