Hi guys.. This is Saanvi and here is my 3rd OS on SwaSan ?

The reason people find it so hard to be happy these days is that they always see the ‘Past’ better than it was, the ‘Present’ worse than it is, and the ‘Future’ less resolved than it will be.
Living in present and not bothering about past and future can only bring happiness in one’s life. Let’s see how the above 2statements happened in our protagonist Sanskar Maheshwari’s life.

Coming to the story:
Sanskar Maheshwari is a honest police officer who is known for his sincerity and for cracking any case and punishing criminals.
One day after a shoot out Sanskar finds a lady on road injured and joins her in hospital.
Doctor comes and says she is fine.
Sanskar goes near her and asks what is her name..She says Swara..
Sanskar says “Where are you from?”
Swara says she is a orphan and works for a NGO.

Sanskar says “Doctor said you are fine. You will be discharged tomorrow.”
Swara thanks him and says “Can we be friends?”
Sanskar smiles and leaves..
After two days Sanskar finds Swara standing outside his home..
He comes down and asks her what was she doing there?
Swara says- Your watchman didn’t allow me inside.
Sanskar- But why did you want to meet me?
Swara- You saved my life..I came to thank you..
Sanskar- You already thanked me at the hospital.
Swara- I had to tell something else.
Sanskar- What?

Swara- I love you.
Sanskar- Have you gone crazy?
Swara- It’s Love at first sight..I fell deeply and madly in love with you..
Sanskar- What do you know about me to love me?
Swara- Every girl dreams of a guy who can protect her and I know you will take care of me..
Sanskar- I’m a cop so it is my duty to save you. If any girl would have been in your position I would have done the same.
Swara- I know you are a kind hearted person..That’s why my love has increased for you.
Sanskar- I guess you got a injury on your head too..That’s why you are speaking senseless things..
Swara- Nothing happened to me..But something will happen to you soon..

I’ll make you love me..
Sanskar nods his head in a disagreement and goes from there..
From that day Swara follows him to every place and keeps proposing him in different ways. Sanskar gets impressed by her cute and childish nature but doesn’t show it outside.

After a month Swara meets Sujatha who works for other NGO during a campaign where ‘saving a girl child’ is being promoted.
Sujatha gets impressed by Swara and asks if she is married?
Swara: No…but I’m in love with someone.
Sujatha asks about the guy and Swara says he is a police officer.

Sujatha says even my son is a police officer. I know all his colleagues.. There is a chance I know your lover too..
Swara replies – He is assistant commissioner of police(ACP). His name is Sanskar.
Sujatha smiles and says- Wow! My son is in love and I didn’t know about it.
Swara gives a confused expression..
Sujatha- Sanskar Maheshwari is my son.

Swara- Aunty I’m sorry..wo wo..
Sujatha- Don’t worry I like you and won’t oppose your relation with my son..
Swara- But your son doesn’t like me. (In a sad tone)
Sujatha- Was he ever rude to you?
Swara- No..
Sujatha- Then don’t worry..You are my daughter in-law.
Swara doesn’t understand anything..Sujatha says something which is muted.

Next day
Sujatha says- Sanskar I brought a match for you..She is very beautiful.
Sanskar- Mom..How many times should I say? I don’t want to get married but you are always behind me bringing some or the other match.
Sujatha- You once see her..If you don’t like her then I won’t force you.
Sanskar says No..
He turns around to find Swara. He says you came again?
Sujatha- You know her?
Sanskar- Mom..wo..

Swara- Aunty I need to talk to you..
Sanskar- Mom say Okay to that girl..I’ll meet her..
And you (looking towards Swara) I’m going to get married..So better stay away from me from now at least.
Both Sujatha and Swara laugh..
Sujatha- She is the girl I chose for you..
Sanskar is shocked but understands their plan and says : Mom I met her and I’m rejecting her..Happy?
Now both Sujatha and Swara are shocked.

Now Swara is deeply hurt and thinks Sanskar will never love her and she should stop disturbing him. She stays in touch with Sujatha but doesn’t meet Sanskar after that day.

After few days Swara comes to see Sujatha..
Swara climbs stairs and goes searching for Sujatha.
She finds Sanskar in his room talking to Sujatha..She stops listening to his words..
Sanskar- Mom..I told you not to bring Swara’s topic again but why are you not listening.
Sujatha- Because only after her arrival I saw your smile.
Sanskar stays silent.
Sujatha- Sanskar Maheshwari never shows mercy while punishing criminals but he can’t even talk rudely to Swara Bose..So strange right..

Sanskar shouts- It is because I can’t hurt her.
Sujatha- You moved on in your life Sanskar..Why don’t you accept that fact?
Sanskar- Yes..but I don’t want the same mistake to repeat with Swara..
Sujatha- What ever happened with Kavitha wasn’t your mistake..
Sanskar- It was all because of me..I know it..
Saying this he storms out of the room but doesn’t notice Swara standing there.
Swara- May I come in Aunty?
Sujatha wipes her tears and says- Come Swara..No need of asking permission!!
Swara- Aunty who is Kavitha?
Sujatha is shocked by her question and stands there silent.
Swara shakes her shoulder and asks- Aunty please tell me who is Kavitha?
Sujatha- Kavitha is my daughter..

Swara- Sanskar has a sister also..
Sujatha- She was Sanskar’s first love..
Swara is startled by her statement and falls on ground.
Sujatha- Sanskar is not my son..but he considers me as his parent..
Swara- But why?
Sujatha- Sanskar and Kavitha met through a common friend. They became friends and later fell in love. After a year they told me and Ram about their love but Ram didn’t agree because Sanskar was a police officer.
Sanskar and Kavitha eloped and got married. They were living happily but one day.
Swara- One day? What happened on that day?

Sujatha says- Some criminal who got punished due to Sanskar planned a revenge and tried to kill him..But that day Kavitha got shot saving Sanskar.
Sujatha cries vigorously.
Swara tries to calm her down. Swara makes Sujatha drink water.
Sujatha- That day he broke down and there was no one to console him..
Swara- Did Ram uncle say anything to him on that day?

Sujatha- Kavitha didn’t let that happen. During her last breath she took a promise from us that we will take care of Sanskar like our own child.
She even asked Sanskar to never leave his job and marry someone who is just made for him.
Swara- Kavitha is really great.
Sujatha smiles and says: The day I met you I saw Kavitha in you..That’s why I chose you for Sanskar but he is afraid of losing you.
Swara- Don’t worry Aunty. I will fulfil Kavitha’s last wish.

Next day evening Swara comes to Sanskar’s home to meet him.
Sanskar- Mom is not at home. She went out with Dad.
Swara- I came to meet you.
Sanskar- Tell me.
Swara bends on her knees and takes out a rose from her pocket.
Swara- Will you marry me?
Sanskar moves his hand forward but suddenly realisation strikes him.
Swara- I heard your conversation with Sujatha aunty yesterday.
Sanskar turns around..His back is facing Swara.
Sanskar- I didn’t tell anyone that I like you.
Swara- Are you lying to me or yourself?

After a minute
Swara- Why were you crying Sanskar?
Sujatha- I wasn’t crying..Some dust fell in my eyes..
Swara makes Sanskar face her and says now tell.
Sanskar lifts his head and looks into Swara’s eyes and tells- I Love You Swara. I want you to stay happy. Staying in my life is a danger for you.
Swara- My happiness is with you. And I know everything about Kavitha. You are not responsible for what has happened with her.

Sanskar- No Swara. You are not understanding.
Swara cups Sanskar’s face and says – Serving our Country is a great thing. Not many have the courage to do it.
I know many people are into police service but you are one among those million people who chose this path for service and providing justice to people.
I guess even Kavitha understood this..That’s why she told you to continue doing it even during her last breath.

Sanskar hugs Swara and cries.
After sometime they break the hug.
Swara- Dying is easy but living with someone’s memories are difficult.
Many army soldiers sacrifice their lives for the country but their wives live whole life staying far from them..Many among them even die during war but their family survive with the memories left by their beloved ones.

Sanskar- But I don’t have the guts to endure the same pain again..I can’t see anything happening to you.
Swara-Nothing will happen to me.
I may die due to a car accident also if my death is written early. Why do you think my death will occur only because of your rivals?
Sanskar is speechless so stays silent.
Swara- Thank god..You understood the logic.

After a month SwaSan get married with all rituals. Ram and Sujatha bless them.
Ram- Take care of him Swara.
Sujatha and Sanskar look at him with surprised expression.
Swara- What happened aunty?
Sujatha- Ram is worrying for the first time for Sanskar.
Swara smiles and says- Bad luck Uncle!! We are going to stay with you’ll. We aren’t going anywhere.
Ram- Sujatha always said me Swara is like our daughter. Today you have proved her correct. I accept you as my second daughter.
All smile and have a family photo together.

After 5years
Swara runs behind a girl{of 3years age}. She shouts- Kavi rukho..Ek niwaala kha lo beta please..Meri achi bachi ho na (Kavi stop..Eat one morsel..your my good girl right!)
Kavi- No mamma..I’m a very bad girl..
{Saying this she winks at Swara}
Sanskar comes from the entrance and picks up Kavi and kisses on her cheek.
Sanskar- Why are you troubling my princess Swara?
Swara- She is irritating me by not eating food.

Sanskar- Kavi that’s very bad. We need to eat to be strong.
He gives her a chocolate.
Kavi kisses him and goes out to play.
SwaSan go to their room.
Swara- It’s been one week you came home. Was that case so important?
Sanskar- That scam involved higher officials Swara. You know na many are ready to sell proofs when offered money. So I had to handle it myself to bring the truth before everyone.
Swara takes his cap,belt and wallet and goes to place them in the cupboard.
Sanskar hugs her from behind very tightly and whispers in her ear.
Sanskar- Thank you.
Swara- Why?
Sanskar- For coming into my life. You named our daughter Kavitha so that I can feel her presence {his first love} in my life..

Your the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you so much.
Swara- What happened pati dev(husband)..Why so many complements today.
Sanskar- I made a right decision by marrying you. I wanted to tell you that.
Swara- Now you write and document them too like a proof {laughs}
Sanskar- I won’t write but will document it.
Swara- How?
Sanskar kisses her neck sensuously. Swara shivers yet feels happy.
She turns and whispers- Kavi will come.

Sanskar- I told mom to keep Kavi with her tonight. So don’t worry.
Swara blushes while Sanskar moves more closer to her and places his lips on hers.
They share a passionate lip lock.He picks her and places on bed.
They make love to each other.
SwaSan lived happily together..Nothing happened like Sanskar feared.

I know it is a simple story but some idea struck me so I put it down this way.
