“Manik?!”Ï whispered slowly as he stood infront of the ebd ..a dark nd cold luk taking over his face”I…I was talking to….”I strtd nd he gave me a mock look shaking his head”I dont care wth whom u r talking to”he spat as I sat up reaching fr my dupatta on the table nd my eeys brimming wth tears suddenly….
“Wat have I ever done to you Manik-y r u so mean to me”i spoke harshly standing up as I glared at him pushing him away frm me”y r u so cruel?”‘I spat as my tears falling down and I lukd away not having the courage to luk at him.

Bcoz that’s wat Iam-i’m a blo*dy monster nd u better stay away frm me…”he said as his dark eyes gleaming wth hatred nd pure disgrace ,disgust as I shudder shaking my head allowing my tears to fall.I hated feeling weak…I hated feeling lyk this but he made me feel so vulnerable nd so xposed.
“‘U dont have to act like u…as if u like me…I know u hate me”I whispered not knowing y on earth i said that.great timing Nandini.Just great.
But I am interrupted out of my thoughts as he walked forward making me step back suddenly nd he grabbed my arm pulling me 2wrds him.

“Dont b delusional kid..I dont hate u…I despise u”he said darkly making me shudder as a gasp escaped my lips.A cold loneliness filled my heart as I stepped back pushing him away frm me.
I didnt know why I am feeling lyk this.Y did it bother me so much that he said that.Surely i knew he had no feelings for me but y did it matter so much?!
“Im glad we agree on sumthing”‘I whispered as he stiffened his eyes glued to my facae b4 he abruptly turned around slamming the door behind him.

Morning soon fell on us as I slowly raised my hands to get up feeling tears brimming my eyes.
Oh ayappa I dont know wat catastrophe is about to come my way but pls pls prtct me..pls keep me strng through this trial…nd ….even prtct amma,appa,abhi,all others in my family,mukti nd also HIM…

I prayed as I finished my riyaz keeping veena aside nd walked 2wrds the bedroom door nd made my way down the stairs.
I didnt knw why but I felt sumthing big is going to happen.As if sumthing so big that will completely chnge our lives wch is just around the corner..
“”Gud mrng sanjana aunty wat r u cooking?”i spoke as sanjana aunty turned around smiling at me b4″im making some tea nd paratha “‘she said in punjabi as I smiled sitting on the stool b4 placing my arms on the kitchen counter.
“Ma’m The young master left 2dy fr business”she said as I lukd at her expressionless as she placed a paper infront of me as I sighed lukng at it

“‘Sanjana aunty how long does he go for?”I asked as she placed a cup of tea infront of me b4 walking 2wrds the fridge”I dont know specifically but he goes around fr about six months or so the least”‘she replied as I sucked in air feeling strange all of a sudden
Am I missing Manik?!

But Iam interrupted out of my thoughts as the house phone rang making me luk at it as I reach 2wrds it shaking my head.

“Hello?!I spoke as I heard a feminine voice frm the other end”Hello?!Hi Sanju aunty I was just wondering has Manik left yet?!because he’s not arrived here yet”spoke the lady frm the other end as I stiffend.
“Im sorry who is this?!”‘I asked dreading the answer as a soft chuckle came frm the other end “‘Im sorry how rude of me-Its me Sanju aunty-
