Chapter 22

Amritsar
Sarna Mansion
Kritika was climbing down the stairs hurriedly and was about to fall down when Rahul came and held her. She had closed her eyes in fear and slightly opened to see what happened. She saw Rahul staring at her. They had a deep eye lock. After some time Kritika looked here and there. “Rahul, leave me”, said Kritika. Rahul came back to senses and made her stand. “I’m sorry baby doll. But, be careful. Tujhe kuch ho jaata toh mera kya hota!”, (If something would’ve happened to you then what would I’ve done!) replied Rahul. Kritika smiled and with a trembling voice replied, “Kyun hum aapke hain kaun?” ( Why? Who am I to you?) She ran back to her room while Rahul stood there and said to himself, “Yehi toh pata karne ki koshish main bhi kar raha hoon.” (I’m also trying to figure out the same.)

Kritika’s room
Kritika entered the room and ran to her bed. She took a pillow and fell down on the bed crying. She covered her face with the pillow and cried out hard. After sometime, she sat up straight and wiped her tears.

Kritika (POV)
No, I’ve to be strong. I can’t do this. I’ve to control myself. I need to maintain distance from him. I can’t undergo the same pain again. I’ve had enough of it. This time I won’t let myself fall weak.

Taj Mahal
Twinkle and Kunj reached near Taj Mahal. They went towards it with their hands entwined. Twinkle said, “Hmm.. it really is worth being a wonder. It is so beautiful.” Kunj smiled at her and said, “I’ve the world’s best wonder. So, what should I do? Keep looking at it?” Twinkle looked at him in confusion and asked, “What is this best wonder now?” Kunj said, “She is” He went close to her and said, “Twinkle Taneja no, Twinkle Kunj Sarna.” Twinkle smiled and said, “Let’s go inside. Otherwise today also something like yesterday will happen.” “Let it happen. I don’t mind spending another night at an isolated place. Atleast I get the time to romance with my wife”, replied Kunj. Twinkle punched him and said, “You’ve become so naughty Mr. Kunj Sarna. Now, please let’s go inside.” Kunj smiled and they went inside. Twinkle and Kunj roamed around when suddenly someone pulled Twinkle behind a pillar. Twinkle closed her eyes and said, “See, leave me. My husband will kill you otherwise.” “Ofcourse he will. No one should even think about touching you”, replied Kunj smilingly looking at Twinkle. Twinkle opened her eyes and found Kunj smiling. “You scared me. I thought someone..”, Twinkle was about to complete when Kunj lightly kissed her lips and said, “Why to fear when Kunj is here?” “Kunj, this is a public place”, said Twinkle. Kunj pulled her closer by her waist and said, “You’re too confusing. Yesterday, when we were alone you told ‘not in an isolated place’. Now, we’re in public, again you’re telling me ‘not in public’. Twinkle smiled and said, “Let it remain a bit confusing. Otherwise, what will you do the entire of your life?” She pushed him and went out of Taj Mahal while Kunj followed her. They came out and Kunj spotted a photographer. He told the photographer to click a photo of theirs. They stood in front of Taj Mahal and Kunj pulled Twinkle by her waist. They stood in a kissing position while the photographer clicked the picture. They were lost in each other when the photographer came and gave their photo. Twinkle awkwardly looked here and there. “Sir, it’s going to rain in sometime. It’s better if we start for the hotel now”, said the driver. “It’s okay Bhaiya, let it rain. You can g..”, Kunj was about complete when Twinkle stamped his foot and gave him a death glare. She said, “Ya Bhaiya, we’ll just come.” The driver went back and Twinkle narrowed her gaze at Kunj. She said, “What were you going to tell him?” “Don’t ask me. I know you know what I was going to tell”, replied Kunj smiling naughtily. Twinkle rolled her eyes and said, “Come now.” Kunj stood at his place but, Twinkle dragged him to the car.

Novotel (Around 7pm)
Twinkle and Kunj reached the hotel and went to the reception. They took the key card and went to their room. They opened the door and were shocked to see a honeymoon suite again. Twinkle said, “Call jiju immediately. Now, I’ll kill him.” Kunj closed the door and pulled her towards himself. He tucked her hair behind her ear and said, “But, this time jiju’s brother booked it.” Twinkle said, “Fine, call him then. Wait, what did you say? You booked this suite?” Kunj nodded his head and kissed her right cheek. “Kunj, what are you doing? Leave me. See, your naughty plans aren’t working today”, said Twinkle blushing. Kunj kissed her other cheek and said, “It’ll take some time but, it will work.” Twinkle widened her eyes and pushed him. She unlocked her suitcase and took her dress. “You Kunj Sarna, stay away from me”, said Twinkle and ran away to the washroom. “I am not so obedient Twinkle. Don’t worry”, said Kunj to himself smilingly.

Ayesha, I can’t promise you about marriage consummation but, I’ll try to put in enough of romance instead. Frankly speaking, I don’t want Twinkle and Kunj to consummate their marriage so soon.
