Chapter 3:

Sanskar: SWARA..!!! She stands like a lifeless body with tears in bride attire… He can’t believe his eyes… He is supposed to marry Ragini… but in her place her sister is present… He married her sister swara… He is not in the state to accept that is he married to swara… Sans: swara you…where is Ragini… what is it… I’m supposed to marry her… do you know what u did… what kind of prank is this… huh..?

Swara remains silent… It’s made him anger more… he holds her arm tightly and shooks her… Sans: answer me dammit… swara stays emotionless… by seeing her unknown fear occupies in sanskar heart… where is his Ragini..? Did she is fine..? Why everyone remains silent…? He looks at dadi and shekar… Sans: where is Ragini…?  shekar bow down the head… Sans shouts: I asked wr is my Ragini..? Dadi folds her hand… Dadi: beta she left all of us… Sans: what do you mean by left ud..? Dadi gv him a letter…

* swara goes to tk her phone… Rags: no need… shona… U wait here… I will tk ur phone… Rags leave to her room… Rags tk her mobile and found her phone on the table… she notices swara application form and env… Rags: this swara na… she nods her head and kept her application form in file… then tk envelop… its address to Ragini Gadodia… after reading letter her eyes are twinkle with happiness… It’s her admission letter in NYC university… it’s her dream… she jumps in happiness… today is the day she gonna to get her love and her dream of doing ph.d in nyc university its bcm true…

She just want to share this to sanskar… sanskar… he says she failed in entrance exam but this letter… she gt confused… maybe he seen someone roll numb… once again she looked at her letter… it has been two months this letter received… but she didn’t knew about this and  none inform her about this… but why…? Just two days more for deadline to join… what she will do now… she needs to talk about this to sanskar… she comes out…  

Swara roaming here and there… dadi ask her to be quite at one place… Dadi looks at shekar worried face…she place her hand on his shoulder… Shekar: ma today I’m very happy Rags gt marrying to sanskar… bt dnt knw how she will react after knowing the fact that we hide her admission… Dadi: dnt wry beta sanskar will take care of this matter… we did this as per his instruction only na… shekar: ma we not only hide about her admission … you knw na what sanskar did… without her knowledge he tk her signature and sends her resignation letter to school… and after marriage they both are moving from kolkatta… Dadi: shekar dnt think too much… everything is happening for good only…

Rags overheard there convo… she was fully broken… she sits with thud… she remembers one by one after sanky proposal… sanskar ask her to quit job and used to say he won’t allow her to work… she thought he is teasing her but he really mean it… even he made her resign job without her knowledge… how stupid she is she signed those paper without reading bz sanskar ask to sign… he knew very well how much she loves her profession… she gt so many jobs with good pays… but she select this profession bz it’s the only profession create other profession… it’s the only place where every children’s should treated as their own children…  she looks at her admission letter and remember how sanskar says she failed… he knew its her dream from childhood… eventhough he made her cry… she felt bad at the time being a teacher she can’t even clear her entrance… she cried a lot… it was a lie of sanskar… dey r moving from kolkatta after their marriage… he not even bother to inform her… he made her family to lie…

Is this the man she loved…? No… When she was his friend he support her in each thin and thick line… he want her to be free independent girl… but now  he become the typical man like others…She closed her eyes… it’s true she loves sanskar but not this man… she want to talk about this to but it’s too late… today is their marriage… it’s no doubt she is traditional girl, she loves her family lot… she will do anything for her loved one… but she is not the girl one who sacrifice her passion and cries for her whole life… she wipes her tears and stands firmly… 

On the other side, Dadi wonders where she is..? Swara and dadi goes to check her room… for their surprise they gt only her letter… dadi bcm numb… shekar tk letter from her hand… once they thought she is proud of their family today made their head down…

If the bride is not present at wedding… This society will taunt their family upbringing… none try to knw the reason behind her doings, they always ready to point finger… Suppose if she have younger sister… then what these society do… the same mistake dadi did… already she was worried for swara kundli and now her sis run away from wedding… who will marry that girl sister… everyone taunt her character also… even if she was innocent… they won’t care…

She knew sanskar is good and value the every relation… 
Dadi took a bridal dress and goes to swara… who doesnt understood the situation… all she understands her sis not here… she is sobbing… wr is she..?is she fyn..? Hw cn she leave her shona lyk dis..? She is really worried for her sis… 
Swara looks at Dadi…

Dadi: already ur sis made our head down… its upto u… u need to decide now… Shekar interrupts: ma wat u r saying… we will talk with sanskar bt pls dnt do dis… She not even knw d meaning of marriage… Dadi: u cn convince sanskar bt wat abt dis society… shekar: I dnt care about them… its upto my daughter’s life… Dadi: but I do… everyone will badmouth Ragini… our upbringing…. and sanskar think about him… his reputation… who will marry swara if they cmes to knw her sister runaway from wedding… shekar: but ma… Dadi shut is mouth by the word promise… dadi looks at swara for her answer…  swara dnt want anyone to badmouth her didi… she dnt want none to point finger at shekar and dadi… dnt want none to taunts sanskar…she silently tk her bridal dress… shekar stands helpless…*

“Sanskar I’m sorry… I knw u all will be angry on me… I created disgrace to all… but you all doesnt gv any othr option to me… If u al can plz forgive me… shona dnt be upset… be a good girl… listen papa and dadi… dnt fight with her… takecare of everyone… didi will return soon…”

After reading letter… Sans feels dejected… he falls on his knees… tears are occupied in his eyes… his love left him in mandap… swara runs to him but he stopped her… Sans: I thought u all my family… but today you all proved we are not one… He slowly stands….

Sanskar walks alone on road like lifeless… she is an understanding girl but today she doesn’t understand reason behind his doings… he thought she fills his darkness life but she threw him in more darkness… He knows very well boozing is not solution for any problem… but right now he want to forget everything his love… her betrayal… whom he thought as a his family… they cheated him by changing bride… they all knw he love Rags… its pained… so he searches some peace in drinks… even drinks doesn’t reduce his pain… 

Sanskar comes home with full drunken stage… swara was waiting for him… He looks swara with painful eyes… swara glares him with guilt… guilt of betraying his handsome by marrying covering her face… guilt of hurting him… sanskar comes near her… swara felt alcohol smell… she moves back… he touches her cheek… swara get frighten… she never seen him like this before… 

Sans: what happened, why you’re afraid of ur handsome… lets come… swara closes her eyes in fear… sans took her mangalsutra:  Mrs.Swara Sanskar Maheshwari…  wife… my foot… he smirks sadly… (With painful voice) why me… you also cheated me… why swara…? Why you did this… why don’t you tell me about Rags before…? I trusted you more than her but… you made me marry by cheating… you too cheated me… Swara(trembling): Sa… sanskar… I…

Sans( anger tone): just shutup swara… you lost everything… you didnt speak at the right time… now you don’t have any rights to speak… he drags and throws her out of his home… from now onwards you are nothing to me …,not even a stranger… I hate you swara… I hate you… hate you from his mouth pierces her heart… tears are flow down from her eyes… sans: don’t dare to come infront me… he slammed the door infront of her… swara broken into tears… she cries miserably… other side sanky falls asleep bcz of alcohol…
