~~Won’t Let You Hurt~~

Sanksar’s pov ~~

Ishaan tried to kill Swara?

Those words ran through my mind repeatedly. So it was him… Ishaan.

It was hard to believe, that Ishaan would go this far.

“W-what makes you think so?” I asked Laksh.

He sighed. “I know I should’ve told you this thing way before. But since the day Ishaan came back, on Ragini’s birthday, something seemed different about him. Ragini noticed that too, but we decided to ignore it.”

Next Ragini spoke up. “I saw the way he looked at Swara. I knew his intentions were not good. When Swara told hum about your engagement, Ishaan just stormed out without saying a word. I even tried to make Swara see what Ishaan was up to, but everytime I said something, we used to end up fighting.”

“On the day of engagement, when Ragini told us about the accident, only one person came into my mind – Ishaan. Somewhere, I knew it was him. I just wanted to be sure of it. Do you remember how he had disappeared in between?” Laksh asked.

I nodded. “He said he wanted to go back to London for some work.” I clarified.

“That was a lie. He was in Mumbai. He was here when Swara was in hospital. This morning, I went to the dress store where Swara had been to collect the dress. The guy who sold me the dress told me that, on the day of the engagement, before Swara came to the store, some guy came there asking for her. I showed him Ishaan’s picture and he said, it was him. The shopkeeper also said, that he saw Ishaan waiting in his car, just one block away from the store.” Laksh said.

I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say. I knew Ishaan would hurt Swara, but this time, he had crossed all his limits… He tried to kill her.

“Now you know, it’s Ishaan behind all this. He turned Swara against you when you were gone.” Ragini said.

All this time, the person who tried to take my life away from me, was right in front of me. I couldn’t see him. I couldn’t see the person who tried to hurt my Swara so much. . .

“He’s gonna pay for it. I won’t let that douche get away with this.” I said. I could feel the anger rising inside me.

“You’re right. But Sanskar, we have to be careful. One wrong move, and he’ll hurt Swara first. He knows that she is your weakness, and he wants to hurt you.”

“I won’t let him hurt her… She has had enough of this. I’ll end it, right now.” I said, storming out.

Just as I was walking out, Laksh came running after. “I’ll come with you.” He said.

“No, you need to stay out of this…for Ragini.” I said.

“I can’t let you go alone…”

“You have to. I’ll be fine. It’s Ishaan you should worry about.” I said, assuring him.

He sighed and nodded. “I’m sorry. I didn’t tell you before. I wasn’t sure about it and you had enough things to worry about.”

“It’s okay. You’ve helped me a lot. Thank you for everything you have done for me, for Swara…” I said.

Smiling weakly, I engulfed him into a hug. It was really hard to find friends like him. He had been with us through everything and I couldn’t thank him enough for it. . .

Swara’s pov~~

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. I was tucked into the bed, warm and cosy. I looked around searching for Sanskar, but he was gone. I wanted him to be there…

Sighing, I answered the phone without looking at the caller ID.

“Hello?” I spoke, still half-asleep.

“Hey, sleeping beauty…” The voice said. Wait, I knew this voice. . .

I took a look at the screen which said – Ishaan…

Oh God, what in the world does he want now?

“What do you want?” I asked, rather rudely.

“You…” He said.

“Shut up, Ishaan. Wasn’t that slap on your face enough? That was me telling you, to f**k off.”

“Okay, I’ll hang up. But don’t you want to know where your boyfriend…sorry ex-boyfriend is?” He asked.

Sanskar….where was he?

“What do you mean?” I asked. I waited him to respond, but he just stayed quite. With every second, my heart was beating faster, thinking of Sanskar.

“Ishaan? Where is he? Is he okay?”

“He’s with me. I’m not sure if he’s okay.” He said.

Shit…

I couldn’t believe that Ishaan had gone this far. He was hurting Sanskar? Even after I had told him to stay away from me, he had the guts to call me?

Right now, I was scared. Scared not for myself, but for Sanskar. What if he hurts him?
“What did you do to him?!”

He chuckled. “To know that, you need to get here – the old ballet studio. I’ll wait here for the next twenty minutes, and if you’re not here, he’ll suffer.” He said.

“Don’t you dare hurt him! You want me, I’ll come. I’ll do whatever you say, just let him go, please…” I cried.

“Stop it, Swara. You’re wasting my time. Get here in next twenty minutes. Your time starts now, baby.” He said, and before I could protest, he hung up.

Dammit… He can’t hurt him! I’ve to reach there at any cost…

I looked at the time – 8:00 pm. I had twenty minutes. I rushed downstairs, grabbed my boots and keys and headed outside.

~I won’t let him hurt Sanskar…even if I have to sacrifice my life for it…~

This is called true love, friends ♥ ♥ Hard to find. Harder to keep it forever. But Swasan will find their way. Its written in their destiny.
