Doctor admits Kanishk and tries to give him injection. Kanishk resists. Kalyani calls clinic from Nayantara Devi’s home and speaks to doc. Doc gives phone to Ketki. Ketki says Kanishk is getting uncontrollable. Kalyani sings Surmayi ankhiyon me…song over phone and Kanishk sleeps. Kalyani keeps phone and turns and gets nervous seeing Nayantara Devi. Nayantara Devi praises her voice and says she needed someone like her and asks her to come with her. Kalyani says she has to go home soon. Nayantara asks her to come back tomorrow. Kalyani does yes and leaves. Assistant also asks her to come back tomorrow for sure.

Kalyani goes to hospital and sees Kanishk asleep. Devaki and and Aayi also come and meet doc. Doc says Kanishk’s hole has reopened and needs operation. He has spoken to cardiologist Dr. Jahangeer at Mumbai and they have to stay in Mumbai for around 1 year for Kanishk’s treatment.

They all reach home. Ketki and Kanishk play chess. Kalyani asks her to read prescription. She reads with great difficulty and says she should have learnt English as she said. Kalyani smiles. Devaki and Aayi discuss how to go to Mumbai without anyone there. Devaki burns her hand with utensil.

Sohrab comes to meet family. Devika and Aayi inform him about going to Mumbai for Kanishk’s operation. Sohrab asks if they informed Ketki and Kalyani. They say no. He says he will arrange something for them. Kalyani drops Sohrab out. He says he scolded director for misbehaving with her. She says it is okay, she is not hurt. He smiles and leaves.

Kalyani tells Ketki that today is her result to sing in chorus for Nayantara Devi and if she will accompany her. Ketki happily agrees. They both reach Nayantara Devi’s office and does not find Kalyani’s name. Kalyani gets sad and tries to leave. Assistant stops her and asks where is she going. Kalyani says her name is not in list, so she will practice more and try her luck next. He says Nayantara has selected her to sing along her and asks if she will come. They both shout in happiness and Kalyani nods yes.

Precap: Devaki informs Kalyani and Ketki they have to go to Mumbai for Kanishk’s operation this Tuesday. Kalyani agrees. Ketki asks why did not she inform aayi about her song rehearsal with Nayantara Devi. Kalyani says if she informs aayi, she will ask her to stay here.
