Saath Nibhana Saathiya being the highest TRP grosser at the 7 pm slot on Star Plus got bigger with the leaps. The new generation in multiple linked families in the show added more drama. Post Leap, Gopi was seen coming out of jail and her journey to win her daughters and family back. Kokila and Gopi made pairing to tackle all the problems. Meera, Vidya and Tolu-Molu added some new attitude-characters in the show. With their love lives, show got multiple tracks. Then new generation drama got less and Kokila’s enemies returned. The drama never ends and brings vamps and villains from any angle possible. Even then the track is going well with unpredictable twist of Kokila’s doppelganger getting inside the Modi house.
Coming to Diya Aur Baati Hum, the show simply shifts between Sandhya’s family life and police duty. After the big leap in the show, Sandhya was seen in separation pain with her other son Vansh. While the Ved-Vansh and kabaddi game-hotel making track took show ahead by good number of episodes, then show took the viewers back to Sandhya-Sooraj track and action sequences. With many tracks post leaps from Sooraj-Sandhya romance, separation, Lalima interruption and Mohit’s murder, the show still does well at the prime slot 9 pm, along another biggie Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at 9.30 pm.
YRKKH’s Akshara and Naitik’s love story is still as simple and enjoyable as the initial episodes. Post leap, Akshara and Naitik’s Cape town track ended soon with much dragging, followed by restaurant Krishna setup track. This show also brought some sensible drama fitting good in the family tracks. Akshara’s blindness and Sangram’s involvement in the accident is still seen in the show. Naksh and Tara’s love will be facing the harsh truth. With many ups and downs, the couple manages to keep relations united and also maintain the essence of family.

Honestly speaking no offense but all star plus show lost it’s charm after the leap 🙁
YRKKH always rockzZz!!!! No matter whether its post leap, pre leap, slow track… whatsoever this serial is the sweet show. No other show can’t ever take it’s place. This is a universal truth. No vamp, no dirty talks, no mental torture. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a pure family show… Great to watch each n every episodes of it. I personally never get bore watching it. This show has many sweet songs of its own. So my vote will be for YRKKH always no matter what…

as an old DABH fan iu still watch it bt srry to say bit has lost it’s old charm and instead of DIYA AUR BAATI its more of CID type suspence police shw which should hav a weekend airing as a suspence shw ……………………….. tnhere is no S&S diya baati left in it …….

Yeh rishta kya is the best serial. I love watching this serial. It has so much family values and teachings to all. It is so real. I hope it is for 7 days. I want Aksharas eyesight is back soon.
I agree with u @ Jesamine Dhillon. Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has the most romantic songs than any other serials. Moreover this serial’s songs are compose by its own… Naitik & Akshara are the best couple in tellyworld. ?
