The Episode starts with Sanjhbati calmly telling Rishi that his frustration is nothing but possessiveness. She explains that he feels betrayed only because he deeply cares for Jhanak, even if he refuses to accept it. She reminds him that once the investigation starts, the truth may prove that someone purposely trapped Jhanak. Rishi admits that his heart believes she can’t do something so cheap, yet he feels cornered. When Sanjhbati questions what this means for Aditi, Rishi insists that loving Jhanak or being with her is not even an option. He hides behind his loyalty to Aditi, but Sanjhbati points out that his behaviour is hurting Aditi too. She says his outburst today might have soothed Aditi temporarily, but it doesn’t change the real issue simmering inside him.
Elsewhere, Ayush apologises to Jhanak, calling himself ashamed for the mess created. Jhanak insists he did nothing wrong except staying in the medical room longer than needed. She tells him that she cannot afford more complications and that the only relation she can maintain with him is friendship. When Ayush asks whom she loves, Jhanak refuses to answer. He reminds her that she herself shouted Rishi’s name in a drunken state. He promises to stand by her no matter what the college thinks. Jhanak says Rishi got humiliated because of her and that she deserved his anger, but Ayush disagrees. She tells Ayush not to stay her friend if he thinks she is wrong.
Meanwhile, Rishi tells Sanjhbati that Jhanak was drunk and vulnerable, and Ayush could have taken advantage. Sanjhbati cuts him off, saying it’s not his concern because he doesn’t consider Jhanak his wife anyway. Rishi admits he is confused. She says outright that he is possessive, and if he truly didn’t care, Jhanak marrying Ayush wouldn’t bother him. Rishi flares up, saying Ayush can’t be trusted and Jhanak barely knows him, revealing his growing irritation. Sanjhbati asks what promise he ever gave Jhanak, making him fall silent. He finally confesses that the anger is wearing off and now he simply feels guilty. Sanjhbati tells him bluntly that he loves Jhanak but is too scared to accept it. Rishi regrets pushing her but stubbornly says he won’t talk to her again—while Sanjhbati is certain he will.
At home, Bablu and Anjana corner Aniruddh. They insist Jhanak is telling the truth. Aniruddh angrily denies it and forbids any discussion. Anjana reminds him that Jhanak asked for nothing, not even his name or money, which proves she’s not lying. Bablu accuses him of tormenting Jhanak unnecessarily. The tension rises until Aniruddh snaps that he won’t tolerate the topic anymore.
At Dadabhai’s house, everyone asks Aditi what happened at the meeting. She tells them Rishi behaved harshly and left alone. Shock spreads through the family.
Back in college, Ayush melts down. He says he supported Jhanak from day one, yet she doesn’t value him. He calls her a betrayer, accusing Rishi of eventually using and abandoning her. Jhanak, furious and hurt, slaps him.
Precap: Rishi, worried for Jhanak, reaches the college. A sudden bomb blast erupts right in front of her, and she screams his name in panic.
