Anurag finally opens up about his heartbreak, admitting that someone once shattered his faith in love. Curious, Radhika gently asks him to share his story. With a heavy heart, Anurag reveals that he was deeply in love with Ishani before leaving abroad for higher studies. But during his absence, Ishani married another man, Shashwat. Years later, fate brought them together again when he returned to teach at a college where Ishani was also working. Their old emotions resurfaced, and they rekindled their relationship after Ishani confided that she wanted to divorce Shashwat because of domestic violence. However, Anurag’s hopes crumbled once more when Ishani went back to Shashwat’s house upon learning of his illness.
Radhika, listening intently, asks if this heartbreak is what led him to agree to marry someone else. Anurag confesses that he waited for Ishani for years, only to feel betrayed when she returned to her husband. He decided it was time to move on. Radhika softly remarks that Ishani must have her own version of events, but Anurag insists that her reasons no longer matter — the truth remains the same. When Radhika asks to see Ishani’s photo, Anurag hesitates momentarily but eventually shows it to her. Radhika looks at the picture and admits Ishani is very beautiful, understanding why Anurag waited so long. Anurag sighs, saying he now regrets wasting those years and only wishes to move on. When Radhika asks whether he has truly forgotten Ishani, he tells her to trust him — he’s doing the right thing. Radhika empathizes, revealing that she too endured a painful breakup once. Anurag smiles faintly and says he’s glad to have met her, hoping to see her again. Radhika nods in agreement, feeling an unspoken connection.
The next day, Radhika visits Shashwat’s house and meets Ishani in person. She introduces herself, saying Ishani doesn’t know her — but she knows Ishani through Anurag. When Radhika mentions that Anurag is getting married, Ishani is visibly shocked, saying she had no idea. Radhika quietly adds that she is the bride-to-be. Ishani forces a smile, congratulating her. Radhika looks at her curiously and asks if she has nothing more to say. Ishani responds that she’s genuinely happy Anurag is finally settling in life.
Radhika explains that she came only to hear Ishani’s version, not to intrude, and wishes to know if Ishani too has moved on. Ishani answers calmly that she isn’t destined to marry Anurag and isn’t ready for another marriage either. Radhika observes that Ishani still loves Anurag, and Ishani admits that love will always exist between them — but she’ll never interfere in his happiness. She feels grateful for the love Anurag gave her but regrets that his long wait turned into his pain. Curious, Ishani asks if Radhika loves Anurag. Radhika shyly replies that she likes him.
Smiling through her sorrow, Ishani blesses Radhika and hands her a saree as a gift, saying Anurag deserves someone as kind as her. She wishes them a happy future together. Overcome with emotion, Radhika hugs Ishani, thanking her for her warmth and the gift before leaving. As the door closes, Ishani’s brave smile fades, and she breaks down into silent tears, torn between love and resignation.
Precap: Radhika tells Anurag that Ishani still loves him deeply. Meanwhile, Ishani confides in Raj didi, saying all she wants is for Anurag to be happy in his life. Raj didi gently responds that it would be best if everything eventually works out between Ishani and Shashwat too.
