Ved sits at a bar, drowning his pain in alcohol as memories of Aarti torment him. Just as he lifts his glass again, Aarti arrives and stops him. She questions why he is destroying himself like this. Ved, shattered, replies that he had no choice—first he lost his mother whom he adored as a child, and later he lost her, Aarti, too. He laments that his life always forces him to choose between his mother and Aarti, never both. Overcome, he directly asks Aarti whether she loves him. With tears in her eyes, Aarti admits she does—but firmly says they cannot marry, leaving Ved stunned.
His phone then rings—it is Kali. She tells him that if he truly believes she is right, he should stay with Aarti. Ved instantly agrees, but then Kali orders him to tell Aarti they can never be together. Ved refuses outright, vowing that his love for Aarti is unshaken and he will never leave her. Kali, sternly, warns she won’t allow it. When Ved asks what she intends to do, Kali cryptically says she will do nothing—but that during Navratri, a lawyer has promised her Ved will belong only to her. She hangs up. Aarti anxiously asks what Kali said, and Ved shares that a lawyer is backing her, but he has no idea who it is.
Moments later, Aarti receives a call from her mother, Anjali, who orders her to return home immediately. Shocked, Aarti asks how she knows she is with Ved. Anjali reminds her simply, “I am your mother.” Ved takes the phone and pleads with Anjali not to interfere, saying he and Aarti deeply love each other and his marriage with Kali was fake. But Anjali challenges him, stating he must prove such claims in court. With finality, she orders Aarti to come home and cuts the call. Aarti reassures Ved that she will convince her mother and prays to the Goddess for their union before leaving.
At home, Padma questions Anjali’s decision to interfere, arguing that Ved’s marriage was fake. But Anjali stands firm, saying her morals compel her to support Kali, regardless.
Elsewhere, Mehek informs Raghav that Anjali herself will be fighting as the opposing lawyer, news that Yuvraj had just delivered. Bhajan urges quick action, and Sadhika lays out a fiery plan: if Aarti and Ved are married, Anjali’s stand will crumble. At that moment, Yuvraj calls Mehek, pretending to be distraught. He claims that he begged Anjali to drop the case for Mehek’s sake, but instead she insulted him and threw him out. Enraged, Sadhika vows to insult Anjali doubly in return. She declares that while Raghav will tackle her in court, outside it, they will ensure victory by getting Aarti married to Ved, a plan Yuvraj agrees to.
Meanwhile, Anjali dons her black lawyer’s coat, steeling herself for the case. Flashbacks of her tragic past flood her mind—how her love Aman died in Yuvraj’s accident, leaving her paralysed for 21 long years. Fighting back tears, she composes herself, only to be confronted by Aarti. Anjali sternly scolds her for meeting Ved despite clear warnings. But Aarti passionately defends herself, comparing her love for Ved to Anjali’s own love for her father. Anjali snaps back, calling her relationship najayaz. Aarti counters that Ved’s marriage to Kali is fake, and Padma herself confirmed it.
Anjali refuses, saying Kali truly loves Ved, making them husband and wife. Aarti refutes this, insisting they are not a real couple. Anjali insists that the law will decide, but Aarti fires back with piercing words—asking if that same law was what failed her father, the law that gave no justice and left Anjali crippled for 21 years. Her warning stuns Anjali into silence, as an unspoken storm brews between mother and daughter.
Precap: Kali is stunned to discover that Anjali will be opposing her in court. She questions Anjali’s decision, to which Anjali replies that she cannot stand by and let injustice prevail, calling herself a true devotee of the law. Meanwhile, Sadhika reassures Aarti that if she genuinely wants Ved, they will arrange their marriage. When Aarti wonders what will happen if her mother disagrees, Sadhika reminds her that while Anjali is fighting for Kali, Aarti’s case will be represented by her own lawyer, Raghav Singh Rajput.
