Lawyer Sameer informs Ishani that she will finally gain freedom from Shashwat today. Ishani, reflecting on her in-laws’ home, admits how much those surroundings mean to every woman and shares her pain at receiving only betrayal and insults despite trying to adjust. Sameer reassures her that standing up for herself was the right thing to do, just as Anurag notes the hearing should begin but Shashwat remains absent.
Meanwhile, Shashwat confesses to Nandini that all his assets—investments, properties, business, and fixed deposits—are now in her name and insists he never signed such papers. Nandini claims it was necessary for her security, which bewilders Shashwat, leading him to confront Raj didi, lamenting Nandini’s betrayal. Pihu accuses Nandini of premeditated intentions, but Nandini asks her not to escalate. Attempting to defuse the situation, Raj didi urges Shashwat to rest, but he remains distraught, telling Nandini he trusted her and feels thoroughly robbed despite her claim of saving him from losses.
A flashback reveals Nandini persuading Shashwat to sign paperwork as part of his business growth, telling him to read them first. Trusting her, Shashwat signs without reading. In the present, he regrets not heeding Ishani’s warnings, labeling Nandini as greedy, while Nandini insists she can throw him out anytime since the house is now hers. When Raj didi questions Nandini’s betrayal, she retorts that Shashwat’s mistake was not reading before signing. Pihu threatens Nandini, and an unwell Shashwat pleads for Ishani’s help before collapsing, prompting Pihu to summon a doctor.
The doctor diagnoses a heart attack and recommends immediate hospitalization. While Nandini coldly comments that Shashwat will recover soon, Pihu berates her and blames her for his condition, especially when Nandini expresses concern about hospital expenses. In parallel, Lawyer Sameer calls Shashwat’s lawyer, Mr. Mehta, as Anurag asks if Shashwat changed his mind, to which Sameer discloses Shashwat isn’t answering any calls.
