Shashwat, Ishani, and Nandini arrive at the police station to formally accuse Anurag. Shashwat introduces himself to the inspector, and Ishani demands action be taken. They explain that Anurag, a former professor of Pihu’s, had her stay at his house overnight without informing them. The inspector notes that Pihu is an adult who went willingly, but Shashwat and Ishani counter that Anurag’s failure to call them proves his malicious intent. Nandini adds the previous allegation of a love letter sent to Ishani.
Shashwat argues that Pihu’s life is being ruined by Anurag’s influence. The inspector agrees to file an FIR and grants them permission to witness the arrest, noting the case will likely attract media attention and result in serious consequences for Anurag. He states that Pihu must undergo a medical examination and will be questioned alone.
Outside, Shashwat informs Pihu of the impending arrest. Pihu protests, believing Ishani is trying to separate them. Shashwat insists Anurag is manipulating her emotions. In a surprising move, Ishani says she will withdraw her objection if Anurag agrees to marry Pihu. The family then leaves for the college.
At the college, the inspector informs the principal of his intent to arrest Anurag for attempting to have a physical relationship with a student and refusing to marry her. Anurag denies any wrongdoing. Shashwat and his family arrive, and Ishani presents Anurag with an ultimatum: marry Pihu or face punishment. Shashwat reiterates the charge of the love letter, but Anurag continues to maintain his innocence.
