The Episode starts with Aniruddh visiting Rishi in the hospital, relieved that Rishi has finally received a clean chit. Rishi thanks him, acknowledging that his freedom came thanks to Aniruddh’s support and most importantly, Jhanak’s testimony. Dadabhai and Putul are stunned to hear Jhanak’s name in this context. Curious, Aniruddh then questions Rishi about Jhanak’s accident. Rishi admits he was slightly distracted and the heavy Ganesh Chaturthi traffic led to the mishap. Aniruddh asks if Jhanak’s family has been informed, but Rishi confesses he couldn’t contact them. He reveals his plan to visit Simulboni personally.
Aniruddh warns him not to go, pointing out that Aditi will disapprove. But Dadabhai firmly interrupts, saying Jhanak’s life is more important than Aditi’s opinion. Since Rishi caused the accident, he must do everything possible to help her. He even reminds Rishi to reach out to Jhanak’s father. This prompts a revelation—Rishi says Parashar is not Jhanak’s father, leaving Aniruddh stunned. He struggles to believe it, but Rishi insists they should not judge Nutan. Aniruddh remains doubtful, warning Rishi not to trust anyone blindly. Before leaving, he prays that Jhanak recovers soon.
The next day, Rishi arrives in Simulboni. There he learns Nutan herself is unwell and Parashar is absent. Sakhi questions his sudden visit, but Rishi replies that he needs to speak with Nutan directly. Inside, Nutan grows anxious seeing him and immediately asks about Jhanak. Rishi breaks the news of the accident, assuring her that Jhanak’s surgery was successful and she will recover. Nutan then probes him emotionally, asking if he truly accepts Jhanak as his wife. She reminds him that she knows his heart belongs to Aditi. With sorrow, Nutan confesses that history is repeating itself, just as it once did in her own life.
Rishi is shaken and confused by her words. Nutan recalls her own painful struggles to give Jhanak a respectable place in society. Now sensing her health failing, she feels compelled to share her truth before it’s too late. She pleads with Rishi to never ignore Jhanak, even if he cannot accept her as his wife.
Meanwhile, elsewhere, Aniruddh recalls Jhanak’s shocking confession—that she is pregnant with his child. Tormented, he mutters that she should not have betrayed him with Parashar. Bablu and Anjana overhear him uttering Jhanak’s name. Anjana wonders if Aniruddh has been in contact with her, while Bablu presses him further. Disturbed, Aniruddh decides he must push Jhanak from his thoughts. Just then, Aditi arrives and informs him that Rishi has gone back to Simulboni. Arshi reacts sharply, reminding them she had already warned them never to trust Rishi.
Back in Simulboni, Nutan clarifies another truth. She reveals that while Parashar deeply loves Jhanak, he is not her father. Rishi, both shocked and determined, promises Nutan he will take full responsibility for Jhanak’s future and education, trying to atone for the suffering he has caused her. But he presses for clarity—who, then, is Jhanak’s father? Nutan says Aniruddh Bose is Jhanak’s father. Rishi is shocked.
Precap: Rishi hands Nutan’s letter to Aniruddh, who sternly warns him not to disclose it. But Rishi challenges him, saying, “Jhanak is your daughter, yet you refuse to take responsibility for her.”
