Kapil reassures Pratima that their marriage is not broken and urges her not to worry before disconnecting the call. Just then, Mangal phones him to check on Pratima’s wellbeing. Suddenly, Kapil hears a noise, rushes to see what happened, and his Bluetooth device falls off. Concerned, Mangal fears he might be in danger and wonders why Monisha hasn’t arrived yet or why Kapil isn’t answering. Meanwhile, Kusum reaches the spot, unsure where to search for Mangal, but realizes she left her phone at home.
Elsewhere, Adit tries to stop Monisha, leading to a struggle. Monisha warns him to stay away, insisting Kapil must pay. During the tussle, Adit loses balance, slips to the edge of the terrace, and clings to the railing, crying for help. Frightened, Monisha flees. Kapil rushes to save Adit, urging him to give his hand. Adit begs him not to let go, but despite Kapil’s efforts, Adit’s grip loosens. Kusum arrives and witnesses the scene, while Monisha escapes unnoticed. Tragedy strikes as Adit slips from Kapil’s hold and falls, landing in front of Mangal in a pool of blood. Kusum screams his name in shock, while Mangal turns, sees him, and desperately calls for an ambulance. Kusum collapses in tears beside Adit. Kapil insists he doesn’t know how it happened, but Kusum glares at him with anger. Soon, the ambulance and police arrive, and Adit is rushed to the hospital. Kapil tries explaining to Mangal, but she ignores him and goes with Adit.
At the hospital, Mangal pleads with the doctor to begin treatment immediately, promising to finish formalities later. Sudesh, Akshat, and Ishana arrive and anxiously ask about Adit’s condition. Mangal assures them he will be fine as Adit is taken into surgery. Pratima also arrives. Kusum, in tears, declares that she saw everything and blames Kapil for Adit’s condition. Kapil tries to console her, but Kusum lashes out, accusing him of revenge and attempted murder. She reminds him Adit begged him not to let go, yet he still did. Kapil insists it was an accident and he tried to save him, but Kusum slaps him, saying he could have saved Adit if he truly wanted.
Pratima defends Kapil, saying he can never harm anyone and urges Kusum not to accuse him falsely. But Kusum curses him, warning that if anything happens to her son, she won’t spare him. Pratima fumes, but Mangal intervenes, asking everyone not to fight at the hospital. Just then, Akshat attacks Kapil with a vase, accusing him of trying to kill his father and declaring his hatred. Mangal restrains him and asks Ishana to take him away. Ishana calls Kapil a bad person who has brought shame on them. Mangal then asks Kapil to leave before matters worsen, and he departs with Pratima.
Later, the doctor asks Ishana if she knows what happened to her father. Ishana says she doesn’t, while Mangal covers up, claiming Adit slipped and fell. The doctor accepts and leaves to review the reports. Mangal consoles the children, assuring them Adit will recover. Sudesh praises her for hiding the truth, warning that otherwise it could turn into a criminal case. Mangal agrees.
Before Kapil can drive away, Mangal stops his car. Kapil, heartbroken, tells her that she is standing by her family, but in their eyes—and in hers—he is already the culprit.
