In the stillness of the night, a mysterious woman performs black magic deep within the forest. At that very moment, Purnima, asleep in her home, jerks awake as if controlled by an unseen force. Her husband watches in confusion as she wanders away, drawn toward the village well. Meanwhile, Meera and Ayaan also spot the woman’s eerie ritual. When Meera almost slips, Ayaan shields her and urges caution. Their presence alerts the sorceress, who summons a swarm of bats to distract them before vanishing into the shadows. Ayaan fights off the attack and reassures a terrified Meera, though both are unsettled by the woman’s sudden disappearance.
Just then, Ishani calls Meera, frantically revealing that Purnima has gone to the well. Meera and Ayaan rush there with Purnima’s family, where they find her precariously standing at the edge. To everyone’s horror, Purnima, with a vacant gaze, declares her innocence and suddenly leaps inside the well. The family is shattered, their cries piercing the night. Meera, however, suspects foul play—believing Purnima’s mother-in-law, Lalita, has a hand in this tragedy.
At Lalita’s house, the truth begins to surface. Lalita gleefully admires Purnima’s jewelry, but when Meera bursts in, she quickly masks her greed with a performance of sorrow, lamenting about her sons’ uncertain futures. Meera, unwilling to escalate matters, comforts her with soothing words before leaving. But once alone, Lalita’s mask drops—she seethes with fury, vowing that if Meera meddles again, no force, not even God, will save her.
Elsewhere, Supriya confides in Meera, pleading for help. She insists that neither Purnima nor her sister Prerna were the type to take their own lives. Shockingly, she also reveals that Chotu isn’t Prerna’s son but the child of Mohan’s first wife, who vanished years ago. Stunned, Meera returns to the well, where Purnima’s spirit appears, whispering that she was innocent. But before Meera can glean more, the spirit vanishes, leaving her desperate for answers.
Sharing her suspicions with Ayaan, Meera points directly at Lalita, convinced she is controlling the family through dark means. Ayaan agrees but reminds her they need evidence. Their conversation takes an eerie turn when Ayaan notices Meera’s dupatta torn. Though she brushes it off as an accident, she later discovers her entire cupboard filled with shredded clothes. Horrified, she senses an invisible presence lurking in her room, but cannot see Lalita watching her from the shadows. Later, she glimpses a strange woman dancing and laughing outside the hotel, her mind clouded with confusion.
The next morning, Ishani takes Chotu home for lunch, unaware of the danger lurking inside. Behind closed doors, Lalita bizarrely prepares to devour raw fish, her nature more beast than human. She silences the weeping Chotu before indulging in her grotesque act. At the same time, in the hotel, Meera suddenly feels a sharp pain in her hand, as if linked to Lalita’s ritual. Though busy greeting guests, her unease is undeniable, leaving Ayaan worried for her safety.
The night of dark magic has only begun to reveal its curse, and Meera’s battle with Lalita’s sinister powers is about to plunge deeper into shadows.
Precap: Ayaan and Meera learn from Baba Ji that Lalita is a chudail. He warns them to stop her before she carries out her next plan, as Lalita is plotting to kill Supriya.
