Mhalsa asks Martand to dig through the mountain while she begins excavating the pond. Elsewhere, Indradev tells Brahmadev that he has succeeded in provoking Malla, who has foolishly fallen into his trap. Meanwhile, Malla starts a yagya, vowing to use tantra to separate Martand and Mhalsa forever.
As Martand tirelessly digs despite exhaustion, Malla sends the tantra towards him, mocking that this will end their union. Indradev explains to Brahmadev that Martand and Mhalsa are seeking this tantra, and perhaps they will now discover its secrets and a way to defeat it.
Mhalsa spots the moving tantra and recalls seeing it near the Shiv temple. She tries to warn Martand, but he cannot hear her. Rushing toward him, she watches water gush from the mountain into the pond, making Martand rejoice. Before she can reach him, Mhalsa falls into the pond, and the tantra strikes Martand, causing excruciating pain. Malla watches in delight as Martand’s eyes turn red with rage.
When Diti arrives, she questions Malla’s glee. He boasts that with one tantra, he has ensured Martand will kill Mhalsa, ending their love story. Diti doubts Mhalsa can die as Shakti’s avatar, but Malla explains that in her current human form, she is still bound by life and death. He declares that Shiv and Shakti, born as Martand and Mhalsa to destroy him, will instead perish, leaving him to rule unchallenged. Mani suddenly appears, accusing Malla of betrayal.
Meanwhile, Mhalsa surfaces from the pond and warns Martand that he has been attacked by the very tantra they sought. But under its control, Martand strangles her. She pleads for him to stop as she struggles to breathe. In a fleeting moment, Martand glimpses Rudra and Kali, regains control, and releases her—only for the tantra to tighten its grip again, turning his eyes red. Grabbing a wooden stick, Martand advances toward her.
