Harjot lies to Sushama, claiming Aditya is in the washroom, fearing she might get caught. When Sushama tries to open the door, Gaurav quickly stops her, assuring her that Aditya will be out soon. He questions Harjot for lying, warning what could have happened if Sushama had checked. Harjot insists she had no choice since Aditya wasn’t there, saying they must lie repeatedly to protect Preet.
Meanwhile, Aditya speeds his bike with Preet, revealing that goons are following her to kill her. She denies knowing them, but they told her someone hired them. As they argue, the bike runs out of petrol, and Preet scolds him for not checking. Aditya defends himself, saying he rushed to save her, leaving his engagement for her, and admits how terrified he was when she was in danger. He asks what would happen to him if something happened to her. They continue fleeing as the goons chase them until they reach a temple safely.
Nisha asks Neeti to bring Aditya so she can dance with him. But the door is locked, and Gaurav, disguised in Aditya’s sehara, is in his place. Neeti refuses to remove the sehara to avoid bad luck, and Jasleen supports her, unknowingly protecting Gaurav’s disguise.
At the temple, Aditya reminds Preet that he left his engagement for her, confessing his feelings and admitting he danced with Nisha only to make her jealous and gauge her feelings. Preet finally admits she feels the same. Aditya reassures her that he is not engaged to Nisha yet. He fashions a ring from temple thread, promising he will always love her and be by her side.

Thanks, H Hasan, for your plot updates and accurate renditions of the drama. I wonder if viewers share my frustration that Aditya never tells his business executive grandmother Sushama that he well knows that Nisha and Neeti’s family lied outrageously when claiming that it was Nisha who saved Sushama from the murderous goons (incidentally hired by Neeti to ice her). Also the goons were jailed, and it is hard to believe they would not have revealed to the police that they were hired by the repulsive Neeti, who eagerly sought to terminate Sushama’s life. They had good grounds to turn on Neeti because she had already betrayed them when she decided Nisha marrying Aditya would be a masterstroke for her future power and wealth. Everyone knows providing such evidence to the justice system can result in a lighter sentence and judicial leniency.
