The episode opens with Katha making a medicine, while Naina questions her, and Mohan throws in a light tease. Mohan tries to head out for work, but both Katha and Vandana insist he stay home. Naina brings him a towel to avoid dust allergies, nudged by Katha. Though hesitant, Mohan accepts the towel and leaves, leaving Katha and Vandana emotional and satisfied.
Just as the mood begins to settle, a neighbor named Mangala drops by and starts throwing shade at Naina. But Katha isn’t having it. She gives Mangala a taste of her own bitter medicine. Offended, Mangala warns Vandana before storming off. Vandana, already on edge, snaps at Naina for coming back home. Katha tries to calm her down, but Vandana, breaking down, complains that Naina still hasn’t revealed what truly happened to her.
Naina, overwhelmed, finally breaks down in Katha’s arms. Katha tries to console her and points to a shooting star, asking Naina to make a wish. But Naina silently walks away.
In a different scene, UV watches the same shooting stars with his gang of cousins. While Katha’s wish is for Naina’s happiness, UV’s wish is pure manipulation—he hopes Katha falls into his trap. He smugly tells his cousins that his “mission” is about to reach its grand finale, and with the stars backing him, success seems guaranteed. Thanks to Pari’s updates, UV feels confident that Katha is buying into his act.
Meanwhile, Eshwar is seen fuming, refusing to eat, and demanding his staff call Rukhmani. Ambika, curious, gets brushed off. When Rukhmani arrives, Eshwar complains about his diet and accuses her of spoiling their grandkids. UV and his cousins, eavesdropping from the stairs, get a sneak peek into the family drama. Rukhmani gives in and allows Eshwar to eat what he wants. Just then, Jhumki enters with a suspicious pickle bottle and dodges questions with a well-practiced lie.
Eshwar then brings up a factory issue and says he wants UV’s help. But UV’s unwillingness frustrates him. Ambika, however, secretly smirks—her plan with Bansal seems to be working, and she envisions the factory falling into her and Vinith’s hands.
In UV’s room, Jhumki demands money for delivering the jar of caterpillars. Pratty threatens her, but Jhumki stands her ground. The next morning, UV and his gang attempt to sneak out but are caught by Eshwar. After sending his cousins away, UV handles Eshwar with his usual smugness. Harshvardan questions UV’s behavior, and UV boldly reveals the jar has caterpillars—though Eshwar doesn’t buy it. UV walks off after delivering some unsolicited advice, leaving Eshwar annoyed.
Elsewhere, Sandy and Bunny sneak into Katha’s garden and dump the caterpillars onto her plants. Katha comes out but misses catching them. She’s heartbroken to find one of her beloved plants destroyed. The emotional blow hits hard, and Mohan, Vandana, and Naina worry about her state.
Precap: UV dramatically saves Katha’s plant, earning her gratitude. But just when he expects praise, Katha learns the truth—it was all part of UV’s twisted plan. She slaps him across the face and humiliates his mother too. Furious and exposed, UV explodes in anger.
