After news breaks of Om being caught red-handed with drugs, reporters swarm his home, bombarding the family with invasive questions. Gayatri reacts with feigned outrage, trying to shield the family’s image. Isha, feeling humiliated by the media’s behavior, firmly defends Om, asserting his innocence and demanding the reporters leave immediately.
At the jail, Jagdish visits Om but struggles with doubt—uncertain whether Om truly made a mistake or if Isha influenced him. He reveals that Isha owes ₹5 lakhs to Mili’s mother-in-law, further fueling his suspicion. Om is devastated by his brother’s distrust and believes Gayatri has already turned Jagdish against him. Determined to prove Om’s innocence, Isha begins collecting evidence. At home, Om’s mother prays fervently, joined by the entire family, hoping her years of devotion will now protect her son.
The next day, the family consults their lawyer, who warns them the legal fight will be costly and offers no guarantee of success. His repeated pleas are ignored.
News of the arrest spreads quickly. Om’s friends are shocked, and Mili’s in-laws read about the incident in the newspaper. Mili defends Om’s character, while her mother begins to fear that her own actions may have contributed to the situation.
Jagdish is overwhelmed by the financial burden, unsure how they will raise the needed funds. Gayatri uses the moment to mock Isha, claiming it’s impossible to gather the money. Ramdas, ashamed by the public scandal, reads the article in silence. Gayatri blames Om and Isha for tarnishing the family’s reputation and dragging them into disgrace.
