Sanju assures Parineet that he will secure her bail, but their conversation is cut short by the inspector. As Parineet walks away silently, Sanju promises again to get her out, feeling helpless and heartbroken. Neeti consoles him, reminding him of Parineet’s resilience and divine favor—how she survived death and found a mother figure in Ambika. As part of her scheme, Neeti spikes Sanju’s drink. In his intoxicated state, he reciprocates her advances. Later, Neeti triumphantly informs Bebe that her plan succeeded—the pills worked, and now she and Sanju are a couple, claiming no one can separate them.
Sanju later informs Parineet that her court date has been scheduled. She is relieved, believing she’ll be released soon, but is shocked to hear the hearing is a month away.
One month later, Sanju consults with the lawyer, who promises to defend Parineet by challenging the evidence. Parineet appears in court, determined to find her mother’s killer. During the trial, prosecutor Varma accuses her of killing Ambika for property, presenting a photo of her with a knife. However, her lawyer argues that forensic evidence shows she wasn’t attacking. Varma then presents a supposed letter from Ambika, claiming she disowned Parineet due to lack of blood relation. Parineet denies writing any such letter, asserting someone is framing her.
Despite her defense, the judge finds insufficient evidence to prove her innocence and declares her guilty. Sanju and Parminder plead for another chance to present proof. The judge grants a new court date. Sanju vows to prove Parineet’s innocence and hires a private investigator, making Neeti and Daljeet uneasy.
Neeti panics after overhearing Sanju’s plans. Daljeet, fearing exposure, decides to flee and informs Neeti he won’t be manipulated anymore. Neeti insists Sanju will never uncover the truth. However, Sanju overhears and directly confronts her—demanding to know who the real murderer is.
