In a fit of anger, Pratima removes her jewelry. Kapil gently warns her it might break, but she snaps, “My heart is broken, and you’re worried about a necklace?” She hands it to him, telling him to keep it. Kapil, puzzled, asks what he’s done wrong. He offers her water, but she brushes it off, demanding to know why he hid the truth about Mangal being married with children. She accuses him of lessening the blow it could’ve been had he told her sooner.
Kapil apologizes, explaining he only learned the truth after overhearing Mangal speaking with Adit, by which time she was already divorced. He reminds Pratima he always maintained that he and Mangal were just colleagues and that Mangal had never given her false hope. Pratima presses him—did he ever have hope? Kapil apologizes again for not telling her sooner. Pratima then accuses him of trying to erase his own past, since he too had once been married. Kapil responds by embracing her.
Meanwhile, Ananya searches Adit’s drawer for documents but is caught by Mangal, who questions her actions. Before Ananya can fully explain, a group of women thank Mangal for providing them with work and mention traveling together for safety. This sparks an idea in Ananya’s mind.
She calls Sowmya with a plan to get Adit fired. Though Sowmya is suspicious, Ananya assures her the plan is solid and promises not to reveal her name. Later, Mangal assigns tasks to Adit, who keeps his composure and begins working. When Mangal checks in again, he declines her help and she leaves. Adit steps out for tea, giving Ananya the chance to sneak in, disable the CCTV, and destroy the work by pouring water on the boxes.
Upon returning, Adit is dismayed to find the boxes ruined. Ananya pretends to be helpful, offering support and suggesting she use Mangal’s printer since the others are off. She then disables another CCTV camera using nail polish. Meanwhile, Mangal, realizing she left her phone behind, asks Kapil to take her back to the office.
As Mangal arrives, Ananya hides under a table in panic. Mangal retrieves her phone and leaves, unaware of Ananya’s presence. Adit, trying to salvage the situation, asks Mangal if he can use her printer, and she agrees. Later, Adit confronts Ananya for printing only one logo out of twenty. Ananya flirts and proposes dinner, but Adit sternly reminds her to stay professional or leave. As he walks away, Ananya thinks, “Goodbye, Adit sir. You’ll be fired tomorrow.”
The following day, Adit walks into a tense office. Noticing everyone’s serious expressions, he asks Mangal what’s happening. A woman gestures toward Ananya, who’s sitting on a sofa crying. Concerned, Adit approaches, but Ananya recoils in fear. When he asks why she’s scared, Kapil steps in, accusing Adit of knowing exactly what he did. Adit is confused, and Ananya drops a bombshell—she accuses him of attempting to molest her the previous night. Adit is left in shock.
