Suraj pleads with Ghungroo to trust him, promising to protect him at all costs. Swearing on their friendship, he assures Ghungroo that he will save him. Jagriti, however, urges Ghungroo not to believe Suraj and come with her instead. Despite her plea, Ghungroo chooses to trust Suraj, expressing his deep faith in him. Suraj embraces him warmly, promising to take him home and celebrate his birthday. Jagriti, overwhelmed with worry, wonders how to protect Ghungroo.
Meanwhile, Kalikant prepares his weapon, determined to keep emotions out of business. He believes that since Ghungroo has discovered their girl trafficking operation, he must die. Kalikant instructs Suraj to visit his office and falsely assures him that Ghungroo will be freed the next day. Suraj, trusting his father, is grateful and relays the news to Jagriti, who remains fearful for Ghungroo’s life. She stations herself outside the hut to keep watch. Suraj, convinced of his father’s innocence, wants to prove Jagriti wrong.
Kalikant again reassures Suraj, claiming Ghungroo will be released and even promising a birthday gift. Suraj, elated, hurries back to share the good news. Ghungroo joyfully hugs Suraj, gifts him a watch, and expresses his love. The two dance happily, their bond stronger than ever. Jagriti, touched by their friendship, hopes all remains well.
As they head through the jungle, gunshots erupt. Suraj and Jagriti shield Ghungroo and return fire, but Ghungroo panics and flees. He’s soon caught by Kalikant’s men. Jagriti realizes the trap—Ghungroo is the real target. Suraj hears his friend’s cries and rushes back, but loses his way. Jagriti, familiar with the area, leads him.
Meanwhile, Ghungroo pleads with Kalikant for help, believing he’ll be spared. But Kalikant coldly betrays him, saying he must save himself first. He mercilessly kills Ghungroo. Suraj and Jagriti arrive just in time to witness the murder. Devastated, Suraj watches his best friend lie lifeless, betrayed by the very man he trusted.
