Gauri meets Charu, and the two share a warm hug. Charu is surprised to learn Gauri left home, while Gauri learns Rekha isn’t around. They’re about to confide in each other, but Gauri asks Charu to bring 40 vada pavs while she prepares tea. Vihaan arrives and bumps into Charu, surprised to hear about Gauri’s unusual food request.
Vihaan enters the house as Gauri begins venting her frustrations, mistakenly believing Charu has returned. Gauri, hungry and weak after not eating for two days, slips but is caught by Vihaan. Meanwhile, Harsh receives a call that the groom’s family is arriving soon to meet Gauri. At home, Veena anxiously waits for Vihaan to bring Gauri, while Rashmi warns she’ll leave with her children if he fails.
Vihaan pleads with Gauri to return for Sandhya’s mu dikhai ceremony, but Gauri refuses, insisting she won’t be a pawn for a witch and advising him to find a simpler family for Sandhya. Vihaan, remembering how he once forced Gauri into marriage, leaves in silence as Charu watches him go.
Back home, Sunheri suddenly screams, shattering glass and alarming everyone. Harsh and Arjun threaten her with holy water, and she believes her message has been delivered to her allies. Sandhya’s in-laws arrive, criticizing her attire and taunting Rashmi for not inviting them to Vihaan’s wedding, yet they still wish to meet the new daughter-in-law.
Charu questions Gauri about Vihaan, but Gauri insists he’s not her jiju and reminds her of the trauma he caused. Charu says she has something important to share.
Vihaan, unable to bring Gauri, suggests postponing the ceremony and lying that Gauri is unwell. Just as he’s about to reveal the truth, Sandhya’s in-laws see the supposed bride descending the stairs. Veena learns it’s Savita didi, acting as Gauri for the moment. Rashmi introduces her as the new bahu, while Babita demands to see her face. Veena quickly diverts the situation, asking to begin the rituals first and praying for divine help to manage the chaos.
