Juhi talks to Neil over the phone, but Neil sounds frustrated. He tells Juhi that he doesn’t understand all these rituals and complains that he has to eat the food placed in front of him—otherwise, the rest of his family won’t eat. Juhi reminds him that today is his Kelvan ritual, an important pre-wedding tradition. Neil makes a sarcastic remark about it and warns Juhi that if she thinks marriage will change everything, she’s mistaken. Juhi calmly replies that she never said anything about change, only that Kelvan is significant. Frustrated, she ends the call. After the call, Neil covers his mouth with his shirt and screams in exasperation.
Meanwhile, Teju receives a message from her friend Sammy, who has sent the final form for the MA exam. Excited, Teju tells Aditi and Prajakta that she can now take her exams in Nagpur since her institution has a branch there. Aditi worries about how Teju will leave tomorrow without Satish and Lakshmi finding out, knowing they won’t allow it. Teju reassures them that she will handle everything.
At the Kelvan ritual, Juhi sits with her family while Deepali performs the Aarthi for her. Juhi then requests Deepali to do the Aarthi for Teju, Aditi, and Prajakta as well. Deepali agrees and blesses them all. Deepali then reminds Teju that she needs to do Juhi’s bridal makeup the next day, as she has the required skills. Aditi, concerned about Teju’s exam registration, grows anxious. However, Teju remains confident and not only agrees to do Juhi’s makeup but also promises to make jewelry for all her sisters. Satish questions how she will afford it.
Teju confidently replies that she will earn money once she clears her MA exams, adding that she also plans to fund Omi’s knee surgery. Satish, unimpressed, dismisses her dreams, reminding her that women in the Chavan family do not work. Lakshmi insults Teju, accusing her of living off her expenses.
Aditi stands up for Teju, reminding Lakshmi that the money she currently has belongs to Aditi’s father. She warns that if Mukta files a case, Lakshmi will be left with no choice but to give up the money. Lakshmi retorts bitterly, leading to further tension. Mukta steps in, cautioning Aditi about how she speaks to Lakshmi, but Aditi challenges her, questioning whether Lakshmi’s behavior towards her is justified.
During the meal, Juhi unexpectedly feeds Teju first. Satish questions why, pointing out that as the bride, Juhi should have eaten the first grain of the Kelvan ritual. Sonali agrees, reminding her of the tradition. Juhi defends her action, explaining that she fed Teju first because Teju will be the next to marry. The family eventually asks Juhi to rest in preparation for her Haldi ceremony in the evening. Juhi agrees, but as she eats, she notices Teju looking at her strangely ever since her phone call with Neil, making her wonder if there’s a misunderstanding brewing. Later, Leena sees Neil dressed for the Haldi ceremony and calls him downstairs, telling him everyone is waiting. Neil reluctantly agrees.
As the Haldi ceremony begins, Alok asks Manjari to apply Haldi to Neil, but she refuses, saying that with so many people around, it isn’t necessary. Instead, she takes a jab at Neil, comparing his wedding to a prisoner’s final moments before execution. She sarcastically asks if they have checked Neil’s last wish, implying that he is being forced into marriage and will regret it. She even calls herself a living example of such suffering. Her words disrupt the joyful atmosphere, prompting Bhushan to lash out at her for ruining the mood. He blames Alok for stopping Manjari when she was about to leave. Manjari argues before storming off.
The Pradhan family continues dancing, celebrating Neil’s Haldi. However, Rituraj notices that Neil remains unusually silent. Concerned, he approaches Neil, asking why he looks so upset, but Neil stays quiet. Later, as Neil wipes the Haldi off his face, Rituraj returns, pressing him again about his silence.
