The episode starts with Hasmuk wondering about Rudra’s sudden return after years, while Paritosh suspects Gautam of calling Rahi’s father. Anupama apologizes to Rahi for not discussing Maya and her father, assuring her that she never wanted any misunderstanding. However, Rahi reassures Anupama, affirming that only Anuj and Anupama are her parents. Leela insists that Prem should have married Rahi during the haldi ritual, believing the Kotharis will prevent the wedding. Rahi, refusing to be judged by the Kotharis, declares her love for Prem but refuses to marry without their approval. Prem, however, urges Rahi to meet him at the temple.
At the temple, Prem proposes to Rahi, promising to convince the family later. Meanwhile, Parag, Vasundhara, Khyati, and Gautam confront Anupama, accusing her of encouraging the marriage. Parag reveals that Prem and Rahi plan to wed and blames Anupama. The Shahs are shocked when Vasundhara threatens suicide if the marriage happens without consent. Prem pressures Rahi to marry immediately, frustrated by her hesitation over choosing a bridal dress. He insists on her trust, but Rahi refuses, prioritizing her family’s blessing. Their argument escalates as Prem accuses Rahi of wanting status as a Kothari daughter-in-law rather than his wife. In anger, Prem breaks ties with Rahi.
As their families witness the confrontation, Prem refuses to return to the Kothari household. Anupama defends herself, asserting she never encouraged the marriage and stands by her values. She urges the Kotharis to consider Prem’s pain. Meanwhile, Ansh, Pari, and Ishani worry about Rahi and Prem, while Mahi blames them for ruining her love. A heated exchange ensues, but Ansh and Pari choose to focus on Rahi and Prem’s well-being.
Rahi is heartbroken, and Anupama ponders why fate seems to be repeating itself. As Rahi mourns her losses, Anupama encourages her to understand Prem’s perspective. Rahi feels abandoned, having lost both love and family. Elsewhere, Anil and Khyati persuade Baa to accept the couple’s relationship. Later, Rahi is shocked to see the Shah family preparing for her wedding.
Precap: Anupama advises Rahi that the Kotharis are set in their ways and won’t change overnight, encouraging her to keep trying. Meanwhile, Prem tells Baa that Rahi’s happiness is his priority, but Baa insists she won’t let Rahi become too independent.

Rahi is Mayas daughter. She has spent, per the story line, only two or three years with Anupama. She has hated Anupama for over twenty years.
Well done Prem. Good job in showing Rahi that the families are toxic. But Rahi, you are such a weirdo.
Maybe that is why she is so enamored with the Kotharis.
