Riddhi catches Neel wiping his tears and calls out his contradiction — claiming he is unaffected by separation from his family while secretly crying. Neel brushes it off as an act, admitting he would only return if his parents fell ill, as he doesn’t want to give up his luxurious life. Disgusted, Riddhi questions if he feels no shame, but Neel casually changes the subject, saying he’s hungry and walking away, with Riddhi following him.
Later, Parameswari insists that Riddhi feed Neel, and despite her reluctance, she is compelled to do so. Parameswari then urges Neel to return the gesture, and as he feeds Riddhi, the song Apna Bane Le Piya plays in the background. Parameswari smiles at the moment, while Vicky, watching in frustration, wishes he were the one in Neel’s place.
Kanchan finds the moment cute and announces she has invited her friends for the muh dikhai ceremony. She stirs up drama by picking out an outfit for Neel, since Sumati had chosen Riddhi’s wedding attire. Shockingly, she presents a saree, insisting Neel wear it. Parameswari and Riddhi protest, but Kanchan dismisses them, challenging Neel that if he could perform the griha pravesh ritual, he could wear a saree too. To everyone’s surprise, Neel agrees.
Riddhi tries to talk him out of it, but Neel reassures her. He then cleverly calls a tailor, requesting a kurta be made from the saree, which enrages Parameswari, as it belonged to her mother. Kamlesh forbids him from altering it, but Neel takes the saree and leaves. Later, Riddhi confronts Kanchan, calling it an insult to Neel. Kanchan, however, reveals that she’s testing him—to see if his love for Riddhi outweighs his ego. If he passes, she believes he will never leave Riddhi.
Meanwhile, at home, Manjari serves tea to Sumati, who, in her distressed state, hallucinates Neel and pleads with him not to marry Riddhi. Manjari is shocked by this. Sumati declares that she holds the most important place in Neel’s life and busies herself with cooking.
As Riddhi debates her next move, Parameswari advises against forcing Neel. Determined, Riddhi decides to convince Kanchan and stop Neel from wearing the saree. Meanwhile, Neel calls Manjari, but she ignores him. Assuming she’s with their parents, he is left uncertain about what to do with the saree. He briefly imagines himself wearing it and is horrified by the thought.
Precap: Parameshwari gives party clothes to Neel and Riddhi and asks them to wear them and come to the garden, then asks them to celebrate valentine’s day. Kanchan gets jealous seeing them dancing and determines to separate them at any cost.
