Kanchan tells Sumati that Riddhi wouldn’t wear such cheap outfits. She scoffs, saying they use more expensive clothes just to clean the house. She then reveals that a designer is currently working on Riddhi’s wedding outfit and sarcastically asks if she should get one designed for Neel too. Parameshwari steps in, questioning Kanchan about her words. But Kanchan simply shrugs, asking what was so wrong with what she said. She points out that Neel is going to be the son-in-law of the family and will attend high-society events, so his standards should match theirs.
Meanwhile, Neel is dealing with a traffic police officer. He tells the officer he’s ready to pay the fine, but the officer questions if he’s just trying to show off his money. Neel insists that he’s simply taking responsibility for his mistake. The officer tells Neel he can take his bike after bringing a helmet. Frustrated, Neel says he doesn’t have time for that—if he doesn’t reach on time, his wedding might get canceled.
Back at the house, Riddhi comes downstairs and takes blessings from Gangadhar and Sumati. Parameshwari informs her that Neel’s family has brought a wedding outfit for her. Sumati hands the outfit to Riddhi, who admires it, saying it’s beautiful and that she’ll definitely wear it. She adds that she thinks the color will suit her and asks Kanchan for her opinion. Kanchan just glares at her and walks away.
Gangadhar compliments Riddhi, saying she will look stunning in the saree. Just then, Riddhi gets a call and heads inside to answer it. Parameshwari invites Neel’s family to sit and have breakfast, but Sumati refuses. Gangadhar mentions that he wants to talk to Riddhi, so Parameshwari tells him to go to her room. He heads inside with Manjari.
Back on the road, Neel, in desperation, tells the officer that if his wedding gets canceled, he might just die—and the blame will be on him. The officer, unimpressed, threatens to arrest him instead. Neel quickly spins a fake sob story and, at the officer’s insistence, calls Riddhi. When she doesn’t pick up, the officer smugly says he knew she wouldn’t because “that’s how girls are.” He once again tells Neel to go get a helmet. Neel then notices the officer’s helmet, snatches it, pays the fine along with the price of the helmet, and rushes off.
At home, Pratham accidentally bumps into Gangadhar, making him fall. Manjari scolds Pratham, asking if he can’t walk properly. Pratham, annoyed, snaps back that Gangadhar should wear glasses. This leads to an argument, but Gangadhar stops Manjari and drags her away. They head to Riddhi’s room, where Gangadhar sends Manjari out so he can talk to Riddhi alone.
Neel finally reaches Riddhi’s house, claiming he’s there to see her. Simran teases him, saying he must be really romantic to show up in his night outfit just to meet her. Neel then sneaks into Riddhi’s room and stops her from telling Gangadhar about the ghar jamai situation. Just then, Sumati enters and asks what’s going on. Neel quickly says that his friend recently became a ghar jamai. Sumati immediately tells him to cut all ties with that friend.
Gangadhar assures Riddhi that she will be happy with them after marriage. He affectionately asks her to start calling him “Papa” from now on. Riddhi, however, recalls her past and firmly tells him that he can never be anything more than a father-in-law to her.
Precap: Kanchan plans to eradicate Neel before wedding. Riddhi asks Neel to inform his parents before marriage that he would be a ghar jamai after marriage. Manjari overhears them.
