Apollena is taking wedding vows (pehras) with Shlok when Girdhar arrives and interrupts. He demands to know what is going on and questions Apollena about why she is marrying Shlok. Turning to his mother, he accuses her of acting behind his back and says it seems his daughter is in trouble. Dadi tries to calm him, but he accuses the family of arranging his daughter’s wedding without his consent. Girdhar questions Mahadev, asking why he is forcing his daughter to marry Shlok without informing him.
Apollena looks at Girdhar helplessly, but he continues, accusing his mother of betraying his trust. Dadi informs him that the marriage is nearly complete, with only one vow remaining. Girdhar declares that he does not approve of the marriage, claiming that Shlok is unworthy of Apollena. He argues that Apollena has dreams and ambitions, and this marriage is not part of them. As the argument escalates, Mahadev worries that Apollena might reveal the truth to Girdhar. To prevent this, Mahadev calls the lawyer to trap Apollena in his scheme. Girdhar, noticing her hesitation, urges Apollena to tell him the truth.
Girdhar assures Apollena that he can see from her face that she does not want to marry Shlok and believes someone is pressuring her into it. He explains that Vaishali informed him that Apollena was in trouble, which is why he came straight to her. As Apollena begins to reveal the truth, Mahadev whispers to her, reminding her that he was the one who secured her father’s release from jail. He threatens that if she does not marry Shlok and convince Girdhar, he could easily send her father back to prison. Fearing for her father, Apollena refuses to leave with Girdhar, which shocks him.
Girdhar pleads with her to explain, but Mahadev steps in, claiming that Apollena loves Shlok. When she reluctantly nods, Girdhar becomes furious, breaking a telescope in his anger. He accuses Apollena of lying to him repeatedly and demands to know the truth about her relationship with Shlok. Apollena denies having any prior relationship with him, which deeply hurts Girdhar. He laments that he fought against everyone for her, dreamed of a bright future for her, and hoped she would become an astronaut. Now, he feels she has shattered those dreams and her life.
Despite Girdhar’s protests, Mahadev insists the wedding rituals continue. Shlok and Apollena complete the remaining vow, and Shlok ties the nuptial chain around her neck and applies vermilion to her hairline. The couple seeks blessings from their families, but Girdhar refuses to bless them. He tells Shlok that he despises him for ruining his daughter’s life. Mahadev defends Shlok, asserting that Girdhar is now insulting his daughter-in-law as well. Girdhar storms off in anger.
Madhu blesses Apollena but tells her she cannot forgive her for betraying her father. Neil also turns away from her in disappointment. Mahadev escorts the newlyweds out of the ceremony. Girdhar, still furious, breaks the telescope again in frustration. Later, Saraswati causes a scene and refuses to perform the aarti for Apollena. When Mahadev argues with her, the neighbors begin to gossip and badmouth Apollena. Humiliated, Apollena walks away in anger, with Shlok following her. Shlok confronts Apollena, asking her to explain what is wrong. She finally breaks down and accuses his father, Mahadev, of forcing her into the marriage.
