Deepika prepares food for Ragini. Chirag tells Deepika that he has no choice but to stay and asks her not to prepare food for his daughter. In response, Deepika suggests that Chirag cut the vegetables. He tries but ends up cutting his fingers, prompting Deepika to show concern and send him outside while she prepares the food herself.
Chandni enjoys playing with her grandparents, Omkar and Lavanya. She expresses missing her mother, which makes Omkar and Lavanya emotional, as they hope Deepika will soon rejoin the family. Chandni seeks permission from Omkar and Lavanya to call them Dadu and Dadi instead of Dadu uncle and Dadu aunty. They permit and get emotional hearing that Dadu and Dadi. Chandni then requests Lavanya to sign a lullaby for her until she sleeps. Lavanya sings a lullaby, and Chandni peacefully dozes off between her grandparents. Omkar and Lavanya share their hope for Deepika’s return to the family.
Deepika feeds Ragini, who insists that Chirag should also eat. Ragini then asks Deepika to eat as well. Deepika looking at Chirag assures Ragini that she will eat later. Deepika encourages Ragini to go to bed, but Ragini insists on sleeping between her SM/Savre mamma and her father. She asks Deepika to sing her a lullaby, which brings back memories for Chirag of the times Deepika cared for him.
The next morning, Chandni enjoys breakfast with Omkar and Lavanya. Lavanya mentions a curfew in her area, and Neelima allows her to stay with them. During breakfast, Chandni doesn’t like the cheela served by Neelima, prompting Lavanya to remark that Chirag doesn’t like it either. At Deepika’s home, she serves Ragini cheela, which is her favorite, while Lavanya gives Chandni jalebi, which she loves. Deepika serves Chirag breakfast, and Ragini asks how Deepika knows he doesn’t like cheela. Ragini then insists Chirag eat his breakfast. Chandni enjoys her time with Lavanya, who reassures her she is welcome anytime.
Ragini is reluctant to leave, but Deepika convinces her that she can visit whenever she wants. Before leaving, Chandni gives blessings to Omkar, who showers her with gifts. She promises Lavanya that she will visit again soon with her mother. Lavanya advises Chandni not to reveal to Chirag that SM is her mother, and Chandni agrees. When Chandni returns home, she excitedly tells Deepika that Lavanya is now her dadi maa and shows the gifts her grandfather gave her. She shares stories about the warm hospitality at her grandparents’ house. Deepika encourages her to keep the gifts in her room.
Lavanya expresses to Deepika how much fun Chandni had with them and asks how long she must wait for Deepika to return. However, Deepika reiterates that she and Chirag cannot reconcile. Just then, Chirag arrives with Ragini, surprising Deepika to see Lavanya there. Ragini explains that she wanted to deliver a card to Deepika. After giving her the card and saying goodbye, Ragini is hugged by Chandni, who comes running out of her room.
Chandni praises Ragini’s bravery and jokingly accuses her of spoiling her image. When Chirag asks Chandni how her mother manages her antics, Chandni cheekily asks Deepika to answer on her behalf. To Chirag’s surprise, Chandni refers to Deepika as her mother.
Precap: He learns that Deepika is attending school function as a family member and questions Deepika from whose side she is here, gets suspicious that Chandni is Deepika’s daughter.
