Apollena tells Grandma that she doesn’t want to get married right now and happy living in the world of space science than in a law-abiding household. She reassures Grandma not to be upset if she doesn’t find a groom who meets her expectations. Grandma insists that she will definitely find the right groom for her and asks Girdhar to read Mahadev’s letter. Girdhar reads it aloud. Grandma reflects on how Saraswati knew nothing when she first came to their home. She taught her how to cook, and she even taught her how to make rasamalai.
Saraswati prepares rasmalai for her friends during kitty party. They mock her English skills, which deeply hurts her. She wonders why Madhu left when the party was at her house. Madhu had brought an educated daughter-in-law, thinking she would be a help, but she left at the perfect time. Saraswati is upset that they are ridiculing her background, especially when Mrs Rastogi makes fun of her for not knowing the English word for cardamom khova/milk solids. Mrs Rastogi jokes with her friend, claiming she was the one who taught Saraswati everything, yet now she is mocking her.
Shlok overhears Mrs Rastogi and steps in, praising Mrs Rastogi sarcastically. He speaks in trendy words that she doesn’t understand, then asks his mom to explain the meaning. Saraswati explains excitedly, and Shlok praises his mom in front of them, asking her to teach these things to her friends who know nothing about it. Shlok defends his mother and delivers a fitting response to Mrs Rastogi. He asks how Mrs Rastogi would say “badi elachi” (big cardamom), and when she answers incorrectly, he corrects her, saying it’s black cardamom. Mrs Rastogi frowning says Shlok speaks a lot. Saraswati says his sweet talks and kindness wins everyone’s heart.
Girdhar tells Madhu that they are going to Prayagraj. Madhu is surprised that they didn’t inform her, and Girdhar mentions that Apollena has been selected for a program in Kanpur and will stay in the hostel. Grandma insists that she won’t let Apollena stay in the hostel alone. Madhu agrees, but Girdhar says that many girls stay in hostels there. Madhu asks where they will stay until Apollena gets an engineering admission, and Girdhar suggests staying at a hotel. Grandma proposes that they stay at Mahadev’s house, but Apollena questions why they should trouble them since they aren’t even relatives. Grandma decides to call Mahadev’s family. While Saraswati plays a game with her friends, Grandma calls her. Saraswati’s friends continue mocking her. Saraswati, frustrated, ends the call abruptly saying it’s a wrong number from some uncultured villager. Apollena advises Grandma not to call her again. However, Mahadev calls back.
Rupa returns home. Saraswati takes the opportunity to teach her a lesson and vent out her frustration on her. Advik arrives home tired from work. Saraswati instigates him against Rupa. Advik lashes out at Rupa, venting out his work frustration on her.
