Prabhat tells Chandrika that she made the right decision regarding Karishma today. Chandrika replies that she hopes Karishma won’t repeat her mistake. Devansh enters, and Chandrika asks him to guide Avinash, expressing her desire for Avinash to work like Devansh. Prabhat suggests that Chandrika forgive Avinash, but she firmly states she won’t forgive him until she feels it’s right.
Vasudha and Hanumant arrive. Vasudha tells Chandrika that she wants to return the crown, saying she doesn’t deserve it. Chandrika instructs Hanumant to explain to Vasudha that her decision won’t change. Prabhat then tells Vasudha that she saved his life, so he wishes to do something in return. Vasudha modestly says she was just there at the right moment, and it wasn’t a big deal. Prabhat, however, insists that she won due to her talent and makes her wear the crown again, telling her she is special and should not underestimate herself, as she can achieve much more.
Later, Hanumant calculates the expenses needed for Vasudha’s wedding. Vasudha tries to convince him not to spend so much, but Hanumant explains that he has saved all his earnings for her and Raghu. He adds that he will feel fulfilled once he sees Vasudha happily married. Vasudha asks him not to talk about death. Hanumant then mentions that he forgot to buy her lehenga today and will purchase it tomorrow. Vasudha falls asleep on his lap.
The next day, Chandrika wishes Prabhat a happy Diwali and takes his blessings. Prabhat assures her that Devansh will arrive home on time. Avinash greets his parents with Diwali wishes. Prabhat again asks Chandrika to forgive Avinash, but she refuses and walks away. Avinash, feeling guilty, hopes for a miracle to help him gain forgiveness, especially after seeing Vasudha, as he believes she might soften Chandrika’s heart.
Vasudha asks Savitri for permission to make a rangoli, and she starts working on it. Karishma notices this and finds it tacky, thinking about banning such traditions after her marriage to Avinash. She goes inside and greets Chandrika, who is decorating the idol of Goddess Lakshmi. Chandrika asks Karishma to remove her slippers before approaching and explains why Diwali is celebrated. Karishma finds the story interesting, and Chandrika advises her to learn these traditions because she will be responsible for them next year. Karishma nods but internally decides she will make Diwali less traditional and more modern next year.
Meanwhile, Vasudha is explaining the significance of Diwali to the staff. Devansh arrives and smiles, appreciating the rangoli Vasudha has made. He goes inside to greet Chandrika and Prabhat with a happy Diwali. He compliments the beautiful rangoli this year. Karishma quickly volunteers to bring tea and snacks, suggesting they check out the rangoli later. She then tells Sarika that she plans to ruin Vasudha’s rangoli and heads outside. Avinash sees Karishma leaving and wonders what she’s up to.
Precap: Chandrika appreciates the rangoli and says whoever made this did a great job and offered her bangle as an appreciation of the token. She asks who made the rangoli. Devansh says Vasudha made this. Karishma accidentally put her leg in cow dung. Vasudha gives her cloth and water to wipe. Karishma gets angry and orders her to clean her foot.
