Scene 1
Mangal says Lakshmi and Karthik should do the ritual. Lakshmi says no you should rest. SAnjan says Mangal will feel bad if you both don’t do it. Mangal says it will only take 2 minutes. Mangal says I will get better if I see them together. Kusum says yes Lakshmi. Karhtik makes Lakshmi sit on the swing and makes her swing. Mangal says to Ishana I know you feel bad, I am sorry. Gayatri says to Kusum I need to go here, I have to do an email. Karthik says we should all go. Mangal should rest. He asks Lakshmi to stay with Mangal, she needs her. Kusum says we are all here to take care of her. Take Lakshmi home. Lipika can stay. She says go and rest.
Karthik comes home. He asks Gayatri did you punish Lakshmi? I heard everything. You were not letting her meet her sister? Gayatri says she creates problems between our families only. She has something going on in her mind all the time. She is always interrogating. She came today adn started interrogating too. You questioned Mangal and she insulted you. Karthik says I wasn’t insulted, she could slap me as well. I respect her a lot. Like I respect you. you don’t need to punish Lakshmi like this. you love your sister so much, how can you stop Lakshmi from meeting your sister?
Kusum brings Mangal dinner. She says amma don’t do this. She says there’s no one else. Lipika left, she said she had to study. Akshar says I will help you. Ishana and Akshar give her a get well soon card. Magnal hugs them. Mangal says to Ishana I can dance. Ishana says don’t do that mummy. Adit says what are you doing that? you wanna do more drama now? Do you want us to suffer? You’re doing this so you stay in bed for a month and don’t have to do anything. Mangal says I just wanted to show her about her dance competition. Adit says stop talking about dance now. Ishana says I can speak to my teacher and do a solo dance. She says don’t worry mummy, please rest. You get me scolded all the time. Scene 2
The next morning, Kusum comes to the kitchen to make breakfast. Magnal is already there in her wheelchair. Kusum says cant I make breakfast? mangal says I can make something. Kusum says it will get worse. Let me make it. Mangal says how will you it alone? Kusum says you think I can’t do it? Mangal says you can. Kusum says then go and rest.
Lakshmi serves Karthik’s coffee. He wakes up angry. Lakshmi asks what happened. She says did I make a mistake? He says you didn’t share anything with me. Why do you want us to talk now? Lakshmi says I am sorry. She cries. Karthik looks at her. He says I felt so bad. You didn’t tell me anything. You don’t trust me? She says no I trust you the most. He says you didn’t tell me maa didn’t let you go there? I could have spoken to her. She says I couldn’t. Karthik says why couldn’t you? he wipes her tears. He says we should hide anything from each other from now on. She says our situations are different. people expect different things from us. I couldn’t say no to Maa. She asked me not to meet Didi. Gayatri hears it. She says she is provoking my son.
Mangal helps Kusum. Kusum asks where is Adit? Magnal says he must have gone for the shower. Mangal says to Adit have your coffee. She tells him where his wallet and things are. He says can’t you keep things in one place? You can’t do one thing right.
