Scene 1
The worker tells Shiv that the main water line was broken and sometimes people can hear weird noises like heart beating because of it. Shiv recalls hearing that and stares at Shakti. Shakti thinks she doesn’t feel right about this. Shiv tells Shakti that he must have heard the water line noise and thought it was some heartbeat. Shakti nods and leaves with him.
The inspector tells Manorama that Rimjhim burned Koyal’s hand deliberately. Chacha says it was an accident. Manorama says she didn’t do any crime. Rimjhim says we are respectable people and it was an accident. The inspector says you people tortured your DIL and it is a crime.
Shakti is leaving from the porch but heavy winds start blowing and a leaf falls near Shakti from the plant. She grabs it and is confused. Mohini thinks if she goes near the plant then she will find Guruji’s foot. Shakti starts going near the plant, Mohini falls down and screams so all rush to her. Mohini says I sprained my foot. The workers start filling the dig.
The inspector tells Chacha that you people have tortured your DIL so we will have to take some action. Manorama asks Chacha to call Koyal and stop them but the inspector says we have to arrest you, you can talk in the police station. She arrests them and takes them away.
Shakti checks Mohini’s foot but she says she is fine. Shiv takes her back int he house and Shakti goes with them. Shiv makes her sit on the couch and checks her foot. Shakti thinks why I felt like she was trying to stop me from seeing something in the porch? She recalls Dadi being scared of Mohini and thinks their lives revolve around snakes after she came in the house. Dadi comes there and says I have arranged pooja for poornama, I think this pooja will bring peace in the house. She asks Shakti to wear all proof of her marriage for the pooja, Shakti nods and leaves. Mohini glares at Dadi.
The inspector brings Chacha, Manorama and Rimjhim to the police station. Manorama says we are innocent, we didn’t do anything. The inspector starts taking them inside but women welfare workers arrive there and shame them. A woman says they should be ashamed of torturing their DIL. Manorama cries and says we are innocent people. All the workers chant against them, Chacha feels ashamed seeing that. A worker takes black ink and throws it at Manorama and Chacha’s faces. They cry in shame and disgust. Rimjhim cries seeing that. Keertan hides and smirks. The flashback shows how Keertan filed the complaint to the inspector against them, He smirks and says soon she will come back to me.
Rimjhim tells Manorama and Chacha that this is all happening because of Koyal, we are in jail because of her. This is what she thinks about us, she could have taken revenge on me but why did she drag you both. Chacha and Manorama sadly look away.
Mohini thinks she needs to get proof of marriage from Shakti before the pooja.
