The episode starts with Narayan telling Jalandhar that if he thinks Mahadev will get angry if he humiliates him, then he is wrong; Mahadev is free from jealousy or greed and must be smiling now. Saraswati and Laxmi also describes the greatness of Mahadev. Jalandhar laughs and asks if Mahadev will laugh now. Indradev laughs on him and says Mahadev will laugh on his joke.
All gods request Mahadev to laugh on Jalandhar. Kartikeya and Ganesh also request Mahadev to laugh and give a befitting reply to Jalandhar. Mahadev smiles. Flowers bloom. Shivling emerges from sagar/ocean. Narayan says even his own ocean is laughing on him. Jalandhar gives Mahadev’s children’s promise to Mahadev and asks him to continue to smile and see his reply.
Jalandar threatens kavad yatra devotees to perform his abhishek instead of Mahadev’s. They refuse. He burns one of them. They chant Jalandhar ki jai and perform his abhishek. Rahu says Jalandhar proved his supremacy over Mahadev. Jalandhar challenges to defeat Mahadev.
