Popular comedian Zakir Khan is set to make his television debut with a brand new show titled “Aapka Apna Zakir,” airing on Sony Entertainment Television. The show promises to leave viewers in stitches, and the first promo, released earlier today, is a must-watch.
The teaser of the show received an overwhelming response from fans, who adore the comedian’s content that touches the hearts of his 6.2 million followers.
The trailer kicks off with an announcement, “2024 mei aaega toh, aaega toh, aaega toh Zakir hi” (Zakir Khan rules the year of 2024). Two individuals, enjoying tapri chai, question, “Yeh Zakir kaun hai beh?” Soon after, they witness a massive crowd celebrating in a parade following the announcement. The announcer describes Zakir as, “Woh hai maa ka ladla, tau ka chela, dosto ka dost, dushmano ka bhi dost.”
In the promo, when the camera shifts to Zakir Khan, he humorously declares, “Bhaiyya na mei garibi mitaunga, na naukri dilwaunga, na muft ka ration, na free ka lamba chauda bhashan” (I will neither remove poverty nor give job lectures, distribute ration, or give long sermons). One of the crowd members asks, “Lekin aa hi kyu raha hai?” (Why is he even coming?), to which Zakir replies, “Khushiyon ki guarantee hai, manoranjan ka wada aur sabka dil jeet lunga from bacha to dada” (Happiness and entertainment are promised along with winning the hearts of everyone—from a child to a grandfather).
The makers have not yet revealed the release date but captioned the promo video, “Aapse milne aayega. Aur aap hi mein mil jaayega. Aapka Apna Zakir. Jald hi. Sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevison par” (The show will launch soon on Sony Entertainment Television).
