Virendra creates a problem at Mansi’s haldi function. Mansi tells him he can’t stop her because she’s not doing anything wrong. Virendra tries to take Mansi away, but Ganga Prasad and Doree stop him. Doree tells him he can’t separate her mom from her. She asks if it’s wrong for her mom to marry for happiness and insists that he shouldn’t separate them. Virendra refuses to let the wedding happen, citing family reputation. Ganga Prasad asks Virendra where he was when Mansi was fighting for her life. Yash says Anand tortured Mansi and even shot her, but Virendra didn’t support her then. Enraged, Virendra vows to kill Anand and says Mansi will live in his house as a widow rather than marry again.
Neelu visits Anand in jail. He apologizes to her, admitting he aborted her child because it wouldn’t be recognized. Anand falsely promises a happy life together, but Neelu doesn’t believe him. She regrets trusting him, can forgive his family but not him, and fears him more than a snake. Neelu declares she’s done with him and will perform his final rites. Bhairavi asks what’s happening, and Neelu says she’s filing a case against Anand. Anand threatens everyone once he’s out of jail, but Neelu isn’t scared.
Mansi asks Virendra why he’s separating her from her daughter. Virendra complains that Mansi doesn’t care about his family’s reputation, which will hurt his business. Mansi challenges him, saying her happiness should come before his business concerns and asks for freedom to lead a happy life with her daughter.
Rukmini scratches Doree’s name on the wall. Bhairavi scolds her for damaging property, but Rukmini insists Kailashi Devi is her name and vows she won’t stay in jail. She threatens to ruin everyone’s lives and take everything from them. Ganga Prasad tells Yash they need to bring Mansi back home. Yash agrees and has spoken with the commissioner. Ganga is disappointed with Virendra. Nani shares her sorrow, and Kailashi Devi warns they can’t fight Virendra. Flora informs them that Doree is missing, worrying Ganga Prasad.
Virendra asks the minister why she’s blocking him. Doree accuses him of ruining Mansi’s life by separating her from her mom. Doree brings some women who share their stories of overcoming hardships in marriages. The minister asserts Mansi’s right to happiness. Virendra insists on making decisions for Mansi, challenging them to send him to jail if he forces her. Doree urges Mansi to speak the truth. Mansi says Virendra is forcing her, and when he raises his hand to slap her, Doree stops him by placing his hand on her head, calling him “Mama” and speaking emotionally. Virendra is convinced and leaves Mansi. Doree requests him to bless her parents’ wedding, and Virendra leaves. The minister praises Doree for handling the situation well.
Anand being taken in police van acts as if he is having and heart attack and escapes from the police.
Nani performs Ganga Prasad’s aarti.
