Doree 24th June 2024 Written Episode Update: Rukmini faces public humiliation

Bhairavi praises Doree and says that you are a little kid but still you caught two culprits. Anand asks about his mother, and Bhairavi informs him that she is in jail. They recall the events leading up to this. Rukmini tells Doree that she will die here along with her parents and tries to escape. Doree grabs her hand, preventing her from leaving. Bhairavi reassures Doree that she doesn’t need to worry, as she will save her. The smoke makes it difficult for Bhairavi to see Rukmini. Doree stops Rukmini from escaping, telling her that she must be punished for her many sins. Bhairavi, now inside, understands that Rukmini is still alive and plans to send her straight to jail.

Ganga Prasad and Mansi regain consciousness and are shocked to see Rukmini there. Bhairavi extinguishes the fire and is also surprised to see Rukmini. Doree confronts Rukmini, listing her crimes: stealing from the basti people, making them starve, pretending to give them rations while taking their land. Mansi adds that they treated Rukmini like a god, but she didn’t treat them as human beings, and she must be punished for her deeds. Ganga Prasad agrees.

Govind remarks that no punishment is enough for Rukmini. She lived a luxurious life by taking away others’ happiness and showed no respect to women. Yash reminds her of the time he told her that a woman would come to teach her a lesson and take away her arrogance, and that woman is Doree. Sudha expresses her desire to kill Rukmini with her own hands for killing her unborn baby, predicting Rukmini will face many struggles in life. Yash notes that Rukmini’s own bloodline has brought about her downfall. Mahendra accuses her of pretending to be his wife to enjoy a luxurious life and of trying to kill his granddaughter. He tells her she deserves to spend her life in jail with her son. Bhairavi takes Rukmini away as the basti people throw garbage at her. Ganga Prasad comments that Rukmini is finally paying for her deeds, as karma has caught up with her.

Rukmini tells Doree to pray that she never gets out of jail, threatening that if she ever does, she will snatch away Doree’s happiness and family. Doree dismisses this as Rukmini’s cheap thoughts. Bhairavi takes Rukmini away.

A Few Days Later

Ganga Prasad and Mansi’s haldi ceremony is taking place. Govind helps with the decorations, and Mahendra asks the priest if he needs anything. Kailashi Devi insists that the haldi ceremony must be done with all the rituals, noting that nothing has been going well recently. Mahendra agrees. Komal asks Sudha if she is alright, and Sudha, holding Flora in her arms, says she is happy because she now has a daughter. Vansh feels guilty for having helped Rukmini, but Doree consoles him and challenges him to dance with her.

Mansi struggles to pin her saree, and Ganga Prasad helps her. She worries about the consequences of their wedding, but Ganga Prasad reassures her, saying they are doing this for Doree’s happiness and she shouldn’t worry about others. Kailashi Devi feels disappointed when she sees a bad omen during the haldi ceremony. Suddenly, Virendra arrives with goons, attempting to stop the ceremony. Virendra calls Mansi shameless for marrying again. Mansi stands up against him.
