Scene 1
Kusum scolds Ishana and says get good grades first. Don’t you have shame in mocking your mom? Keep your books to yourself. She says to Mangal what is all this? Why do you stay silent? Everyoen insulted you but no one knew what you did today? Papa asks what happened. She says our DIL did what an angel can do. She hugs Mangal. Kusum says she saved Karthik’s life today. We were all mad at her because she got late but she was there saving Karthik’s life. He got an allergic reaction. She says forgive me Mangal I was mad at you. Mangal says you didn’t know. I panicked when I heard so I rushed there. I forgot to call you. Kusum says Lakshmi didn’t know he was allergic so she gave him peanut butter. Adit says that Lakshmi made a mistake and Mangal went there to handle things. Kusum says Lakshmi didn’t know either. It’s not her fault. It was a mistake. She says Gayatri was very grateful.
