Shalin Bhanot recently took to social media to share a video revealing the extent of his injury, with his face appearing swollen and dislocated. The Naagin 4 actor was shown receiving medical attention from the show’s team. He accompanied the video with the instrumental music from the song “Kal Ho Na Ho,” poignantly highlighting his pain. In his Instagram post, Shalin wrote, “Anything for all of you! #kkk14.”
Reports suggest that Shalin was bitten by over 200 scorpions while performing a stunt on the show, leading to his severe injury.

Shalin was initially offered a spot on Khatron Ke Khiladi during his stint on Bigg Boss 16. At that time, he declined the offer, stating that the show wasn’t his cup of tea. He later explained in an interview with the Indian Express that he wanted to focus on his acting career after Bigg Boss 16, leading him to take up the project Bekaboo. However, a project delay coincided with the offer for Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, which he eventually accepted.
His co-star from Bekaboo, Abhishek Kumar, played a significant role in convincing Shalin to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Abhishek persistently encouraged Shalin, ultimately persuading him to join the adventure.
Media reports indicate that Shalin Bhanot and fellow contestant Asim Riaz had a major confrontation following a stunt. Shalin and Abhishek reportedly mocked Asim for failing to complete a stunt, which led to Asim verbally abusing Shalin. This altercation escalated, resulting in a confrontation with host Rohit Shetty and Asim’s eventual removal from the show. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this incident.
Shalin Bhanot and Abhishek Kumar share a strong friendship, with Abhishek considering Shalin a mentor. Their bond strengthened during their time on Bekaboo, and Shalin has consistently supported and guided Abhishek.
During the finale of Bigg Boss 16, Shalin made a special appearance to support Abhishek Kumar, encouraging him to perform his best and defending him against accusations from other contestants and viewers.
Shalin Bhanot was previously married to actress Dalljiet Kaur, with whom he has a son named Jaydon. Despite their separation due to personal reasons, they maintain a cordial relationship.
