The Episode starts with Shivam taking Sajeeri aside and scolding her. He doesn’t let her say Mandira’s name. He asks her to remember the new rules. He says stay quiet and stay away from me. She cries. He goes. Riya asks her to come, Nalini is looking for her. Sajeeri says I will just come. She says Shivam got hurt because of me, I won’t do anything that he feels ashamed of. Mandira asks the photographer to click good pics of Sajeeri. The man to stop Sajeeri. She says let it be, I want to go. He insists her to come. She agrees. She stands in front of the glasses. Her heels break. She stumbles and falls back. The glasses fall down. Sajeeri also falls aside. Everyone looks on.
The guests gossip. Nalini asks Sajeeri to get up. She asks are you fine. Shivam gets angry hearing the guests’ comments on Sajeeri. The guests question Shivam and make fun of Sajeeri. The girl says you rejected me for this girl. Sajeeri cries. Aaji and Mandira smile. Sajeeri starts defending herself. She gives a speech. She removes the heels. Sharad says lets clap for Sajeeri, she said the right thing. Mandira comes and says I would have raised a toast if the glasses didn’t break, nice speech Sajeeri, you have to give a personal speech as well. She says Sajeeri has prepared a speech for her husband and family. Shivam asks have you gone mad to give a speech. Mandira asks what’s your problem if she is confident. She thinks Sajeeri will get insulted now. Sajeeri checks the speech and says I didn’t write this, I had written the speech in Hindi, not English. They all ask her to read what she has written. Sajeeri isn’t able to read it well. They all laugh at her.
Shivam gets angry and thinks why did she come in my life. He scolds her for the drama. She says I don’t understand what’s written, I can’t read English, you know I studied just 4th standard from a govt school. Shivam is shocked. Aaji says Sajeeri’s truth is out. Shivam asks Sajeeri to just stop it.
The guy stops Shivam from leaving. Shivam angrily leaves. Sajeeri apologizes to everyone. Shivam stops. Sajeeri says I can’t read whatever is written on this paper, someone told me that language isn’t needed to speak out the heart, one needs emotions for that. She gives a speech to express her emotions. She says I was scared to come here, Shivam and I are from different worlds, but my Sasural family has given me much love and ended my fears. She praises the family members. Nalini smiles. Sajeeri says Nalini is like my Aai, I will gradually bond with the family members, Shivam is my husband and also my friend, my support, when I make a mistake, he rectifies my mistake, his anger also reflects love, we are different, but I don’t think so. She thanks Shivam for coming into her life and giving her a big family. She says I promise, I will always keep the family happy. Everyone claps. He thinks she is hiding the truth of her illiteracy.
