Aryaman gently places Janvi on the sofa to rest. Kian tells Janvi he won’t go to the cricket match because he needs to take care of her. Janvi pleads with Kian to go to the match. Aryaman steps in, saying he can help, and asks Janvi to let him fix her foot. When Aryaman tries to touch Janvi’s foot, she cries out in pain. Kian tells Aryaman not to touch her. Aryaman then sends Kian to get some ice for Janvi. While Kian is gone, Aryaman flirts with Janvi and confesses his love, which shocks her. Despite the pain, Aryaman manages to set her foot right. Janvi stands up, realizing the pain is gone, and thanks Aryaman. She then tells Kian to get ready for school. When Janvi asks Aryaman about his earlier confession, he dismisses it as a joke. Janvi and Kian leave for school.
At the school, an attendant informs Janvi that the principal wants to see her. Janvi tells Kian to wait while she goes to the principal’s office. The principal hands Janvi an expulsion letter for Kian, saying the decision was made by the parents. They criticize Kian for not having a father’s name on his birth certificate and label him an illegitimate child. The principal adds that Kian can stay in school only if Janvi reveals the father’s name. Aryaman watches the situation from a distance. Janvi remains silent, leading the principal to sign the expulsion letter, effective immediately. Janvi takes the letter and leaves.
Aryaman pulls Janvi aside, questioning why she didn’t name Kian’s father and accusing her silence of causing Kian’s expulsion. He demands to know the father’s name, but Janvi stays silent. Kian asks about the match, and Aryaman lies, saying there is no match today, and sends him away. Aryaman vows to find out who Kian’s father is. Janvi asks Aryaman to take Kian home and then leaves.
Raina tells Sadhu that Brij Bhushan has made her the CEO of the hotel and outlines the changes she wants to implement. Janvi approaches Raina, begging her not to punish Kian for her mistakes. She pleads for Raina to punish her instead. Raina agrees, saying Janvi will now work in housekeeping instead of guest relations. Janvi accepts the new role, hoping it will allow Kian to stay in school. However, Raina explains that the parents have already decided to expel Kian and blames Janvi for it. With no other choice, Janvi agrees to the housekeeping job.
Meanwhile, Muralidhar informs Aryaman that the phone number he was investigating is registered under Janvi Joshi’s name. Aryaman realizes someone is trying to frame Janvi.
