Majethia, in a statement, disclosed that while he wasn’t directly involved due to Singh’s absence from his show, he was informed by Singh’s close friend, Soni, who had previously worked on his production. Taking it upon himself to raise awareness, Majethia notified various stakeholders including the channel, media outlets, and the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah team, underscoring his intent to assist despite limited personal involvement.
Meanwhile, Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, addressed rumors surrounding Singh’s departure from the show during the pandemic. Modi clarified that there were no outstanding dues, emphasizing the challenging circumstances faced by the industry at the time. Despite Singh’s exit from the show, Modi emphasized their continued cordial relationship, revealing that he last interacted with Singh several months prior.
