Television heartthrob Ravi Dubey has been confirmed to play the pivotal character of Lakshman in the epic drama.
According to reports from The Times of India, Ravi Dubey’s casting as Lakshman in Ramayana marks a significant milestone in his career. Known for his versatility and acting prowess, Dubey has garnered acclaim for his roles in television shows and web series. His portrayal of Lakshman, a revered figure in Hindu mythology, is expected to add depth and authenticity to the narrative.
Previously, there were speculations surrounding actor Navin Polishetty essaying the role of Lakshman. However, Dubey’s confirmation puts an end to these rumors. The actor’s recent performance in JioCinema’s web series Lakhan Leela Bhargava (LLB), where he delivered a compelling 28-minute monologue, showcased his acting capabilities and garnered widespread praise.
